You do NOT see where their ship ended up, seeing as it was only a chick and freaking HEAD on that ship....
NOTHING is obvious about where the new humans came from. Especially since in the first movie NOBODY ONCE mentioned any second or follow-up missions ANYWHERE after the first one...so what in the absolute F*CK ALL are you babbling about? And I already touched on the laziness of adding multiple versions of that robot in the movie. That's basically trying to cover their butts for not continuing a plot properly.
Apparently you are definitely the target audience. Just like the people who absolutely love anything Micheal Bay puts out.....screw the story, acting, or anything else...just give me some explosions and I'll call it a great movie. I don't downshift that easy just because something has special effects and a familiar name. I've said a million times, if thi is a standalone that doesn't try to attach itself to Prometheus, that's absolutely fine. But I'm not buying it if it's not.
I'd much rather talk to a Trekkie about Start Trek, a Star Wars fanatic (whatever the hell label they go by these days) about that movie, and whatever the hell they call die hard fans of the Aliens franchise about this. Talking to the "target audience" is like trying to squeeze blood from a cinder block.
Unless this movie TOTALLY explains in the intro where their ship ended up, whether or not they found the planet of the engineers, where all these new humans came from when she was literally THE ONLY ONE LEFT, and where the hell the alien came from when we sat there and saw how the alien came to be and what two creatures had to come together to create it...THEN YES!!! I WILL DEFINITELY SIT THERE AND NOT BUY IT!!!
And also, if they're gonna do all that in the opening to the movie, that shows EXTREEEEEEME laziness, because that means they just couldn't be bothered with anything but dialog when it comes to the story
There's something called "continuity"....it's pretty much gone out of style in this generation, but I'm sure somebody has heard of it.
@Fetseroony: These days, I'm getting really turned off to movies. Sequels and prequels rarely if ever connect with the main stories....the entire horror genre doesn't even exist anymore....classics get defecated on like nothing I've ever seen before....and then there's Micheal Bay, who I can't believe still has a job.
If this movie is a standalone. I can totally accept that. But this is in no way a sequel to Prometheus. I'm not buying that at all, trailer or not.

Dude, you just confirmed more than half of what I was saying. I MENTIONED them taking a ship and heading for the place where those large white dudes came from. I MENTIONED the dude being a robot...my question is where did this extra body come from? If he has another body like you say, that's just stealing from iRobot...kind of weak.
Suggesting that the ship crashed and that she died is kind of debunked, because she shows up in this trailer. Now all that aside, there's really no room for an open mind when the alien that we've all known since the first movie shows up, when it specifically shows how that alien came to be in Prometheus...AND the fact that there are OTHER HUMANS IN THE TRAILER....

Someone mind telling me what the hell this trailer has to do with any type of connection to Prometheus? At the end, she said she was leaving to find the ones who created humans and yada yada yada....where the hell did these other people come from? And since those aliens appeared to be offspring of those large white dudes and that blob octopus looking thing, where the hell did THESE aliens come from?
Oh yeah, and how did Magneto get his body back. He was just a head at the end of Prometheus.
NONE of this makes sense. The only way you can explain your way out of this is if that means THIS Aliens movie is a standalone movie and has nothing to do with Prometheus...but even THAT wouldn't make sense, seeing as the characters from that movie are in the trailer.
Maaaaan...where the hell were you when I needed you BEFORE I bought this thing...lol. That laptop ran me around $4,000 six years ago. But I must say, it held up as long as it possibly could. I went through the process of building a desktop last month (HUUUUUGE learning curve there). The funny part is, the laptop started breaking down (starting with the speakers) right when I got the everything setup with the new PC...almost like it was jealous or something...lol
But hey, thanx for the website though. I'm gonna check it out right away.
I have Malwarebytes, Avast, and Spybot installed. I've already run scans and nothing comes up. I've even exited each one of them and ran the game and it still freezes my entire computer. Wait, maybe I'm not describing it clear enough. When I say "freeze", I'm not talking about a slow down or a stop and go kind of thing. I'm talking about a complete shut down. Just look at your screen playing a video for a example...then out of nowhere everything just STOPS. The entire computer locks in place. No sound, no motion, keyboard and mouse are shut down, every single thing is unresponsive. The game itself runs perfectly for me. This isn't a case of lowering settings, because I've done that already. It's not the game freezing. The entire computer shuts down and I have to hold the power button to shut it off and wait for about a half hour to be able to turn it back on again, because it won't come back on right after shut down.
Hopefully that clears it up better.
Anyway, all I wanna do is be able to play games on the top settings and edit and convert videos, and multitask without ANY fear what-so-ever of my computer freezing up. Like I said before, I have no use, need, or interest in anything 3D, and I still don't know what 4K is, so i don't know if I need that or not. But I'm just asking for something that SOUNDS simple enough, but apparently must not be because no one seems to know what is making my laptop freeze each and every time I play a game or edit and convert videos. Not even computer repair stores....that by itself is sad.....and infuriating.
I'm willing to build a PC from scratch, but I am on a very tight budget. The first thing I need to know is about the motherboard. I need one that I won't need to replace anytime soon. Something powerful....even though I have no idea how these things work.
Okay, I am VERY NEW to all of this...actually, I've never done it before....but apparently, this seems to be the way for me to go in order to get the PC I need. Here's my issue in a nutshell....
I bought my laptop from Dell (got screwed) in 2010....
Anyway, this thing can still run with the best of them in my opinion, but when it comes to running games or video editing and multitasking, there's a HUGE problem....IT FREAKING FREEZES!! Now, this wouldn't be a problem if it happened once in a blue moon...but it happens every single time I try to edit videos, even with Windows Movie Maker that came with the damn thing. When I try to convert large videos to a different format, and I'm dumb enough to open any web browser, the entire system freezes and I have to hold the power button to shut down and then wait a long time before I can turn it back on again. When I try to play games....sigh....lets say, I'll try to play a game for more than 5 minutes 100 times...it'll completely freeze on me 99 of the 100. Not the game itself...I'm talking the entire laptop. Once again forcing me to hold the power button.
Does anybody know why this is happening? And before you answer...no, it's not an issue with overheating. I've tried unplugging my USB devices, exiting my virus and malware software...nothing. It all ends up with me holding that damn power button. Can somebody PLEASE help me with this. Because NOBODY has been able to tell me why this thing keeps freezing.
Now, when it comes to building a gaming rig...
I'm assuming I need to spend thousands of dollars to build one because all i wanna do is be able to play games and multitask and edit and convert videos (not all at once obviously) without the damn thing freezing on me. Can anybody tell me if this "cheap" gaming rig they have here will work for what I'm asking? My main thing right now is trying to play Dragon Age Inquisition. I'll never get to finish the damn game because literally every minute and a half my laptop freezes. So I need some real help here from someone with patience.
Oh yeah, and I'm not trying to spend an arm and a leg either. I don't care about 3D. I'm not interested in that. I have no idea what 4K is. And I already have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, so that doesn't factor in. And I plan on using a projector, so monitors are pointless for me. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
