[QUOTE="chappy_man"]Now what i notice is that you dont have very many gamesAlexSays

Yeah I see that too. It's funny how people come into this forum, list five games they have, and complain about how they never play the console. No really? So you don't buy any new games, and you wonder why your console doesn't get used? It just befuddles me. No console is consistently enjoyable with only six games.

This is nothing new, folks.

I actually had serveral others games to which I had gotten rid of throughout the year.

Also, I wouldn't call what I said in my first post as "complaining", seeing as when asking a question one would consider it appropriate to give a back round story as to why I wish to sell the Wii, in order to get answers that would reflect my situation.

If I had known that the arguments against me selling my Wii would have turned into an ad hominem style of arguing I would have chosen not to post the question at all.

Anyways, thanks to all those who offered constructive idea's on what to do in my situation, I appreciate the advice and will think it over tonight as to what I should do.

I've had my Wii since about July of 2007 and I have to be honest, I haven't touched the thing in over 4 months. In fact it hasn't even been plugged for that time period, or even for most of this year. I currently have these six games:

Wii Sports

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Super Mario Galaxy

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Scarface: The World Is Yours

World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions

I've enjoyed most of these games alot(with the exception of poker), but I haven't really played any of these games past the first couple of weeks since I first got them. I normally don't like trading in consoles since the last time I traded one in I've regretted it ever since. But this time, I honesty just don't use it at all and its doing me no good just letting it sit there. I'm being offered $220 for the Wii it's self and I'm finding it hard to turn down.

Does anyone have any reason for me to keep it?

I am interested in buying this card below:

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4148909&sku=H231-4608

I have read that the HD 4670 are great gaming cards and can run on almost ANY powersupply. Though through my research on the ATI siteit's saying that all cards require atleast 400watt. Seeing how my computer is underwarrantyand I don't want to remove my 300watt PS I would not buy this card.

http://ati.amd.com/products/Radeonhd4600/requirements.html

My question is, can I run this card on a 300watt PS or must I look elseware?

I recently bought a pc with a ATI Radeon HD 3450 in it and I'm not too happy with the current card. I have a 350watt powersupply in the computer right now and want a minor upgrade GC upgrade, I have a $50 gift card to FS and this is the best thing I could find for 350watt ps.

So my question is would that(^^^) card be that much better then my ATI Radeon HD 3450(256mb) to warrent an upgrade?

The song that plays in the backround on this goodbye Alex tribute is driving me mad!

I've gotten this part of the lyrics down:

"Oh we made it this far and where that is... is where we are... and I'm so glad that we managed to stay friends"

I tyep it into google and can't find anything about it, anyone know?

Some gaming(I do enjoy my HL2 from time to time) and web surfing, my last pc I built was just ticking me off simply because I could never get all the parts to work together without many, many problems(thought I'm pretty sure it was mostly my fault, just easier to blame it on the parts:P)I already have a PS and a decent graphics card from the old crappy thing that just died. I'm gonna go with a pre-built one this time around, maybe when this one died I'll built again.

My main computer recently died on me so with my small budget I've decided to go with this: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10107120&catid=#

I know it's not the best out there but compared to the other sites which I shop at (Tigerdirect.ca,staples.ca) I think it's the best bang for my buck. Other then the PS and graphics card of course which will be upgraded shortly after.

If you think I'm making a bad choice, please for the love of god say so. I only buy a new computer when mine breaks down. So if you could point me in the right direction of under 700$ on one of those 3 sites that would be great, thanks.

HD TV's has limited option for a resolution. And probably your default resolution is not compatible to the TV.

I advice you go to safemode and change the resolution from there. Try to check the manual to find out the resolution of your TV.

Yorro

Got into safe mode, but I don't understand as to how to change to resolution. Control panel?

EDIT, thanks for the info. It seems the TV can't run at my default res so I had to downsize it. Kinda of a drag, but still good. Thanks.

I have a Toshiba REGZA 26' 26HL47 and I'm currently trying to use it as a monitor. I have the correct VGA cable for it, the problem is though once the computer gets past the Windows logo into the login screen the tv just starts to flickering in black and I can't see a thing. I try to change some settings on the tv but while to screen is flickering it won't allow me to access it for more than a milisecond. Any idea's?
