Game of the year is you win a game of the year award from any one, doesn't matter who and release the game as a game of the year edition. It's only done to make more money, it has nothing to do with sales or if the game is any good. So I agree with you, its a sham system.

- sorry for my bad english, I usually speak english -

I agree I like shooters, but I wish there was more out there. Warren spectre said, "I'm tired of solving everything with a gun, a sword, and a fireball." It would be nice is more creative games were made. But look at it this way. Shooters have always been popular, since space invaders, people like to shoot things, and the game industry is capitalizing on that.

it's made by a team who made PoP:SoT and worked on alot of splinter cell. those are the two biggest sources of influence in the game. If you liked Sands of Time or any thing out of splinter cell thats what your looking to get in Assassins creed.

I think I'm the only person who listens to the game's sound track, or no soundtrack so I can "perform" in multiplayer. I don't like music for multiplayer because I get excited and you just don't play as well when your rev'ed on adrenaline. the only exception is I have to listen to tool when I'm playing Burn out, because I'm never in the mood for their soundtrack even though alot of it is pretty good.

my numbers are probably not right but here is the difference. LCD and plasma have 50,000 hours of view time before they die. when they die their done, you get a new tv. DLP only have 10,000 hours per bulb, but it only cost 300 per bulb.

I think its surprising because a second pedal could double as both a high-hat pedal and a second bass drum. but three limbs is a lot easier than four so I understand why they did it when making it a game for people who probably don't drum.

I do have fun. I take my time, but its apparently faster than other people. I never play a game just for the points, I have to have atleast considered playing it, regardless of gamerscore. Thats why I refuse to play sports games. I dislike sports, I don't care how many points or how fast I could get them, it wouldn't be fun, and its so easy its just not valuable.

I have played a few easy games like Call of Duty 2 that only took 15 hours the first time through to get all 1000.

I do have alot of time, and only two friends but one is too busy working and the other is too busy playing WoW. so I found myself putting alot of time into the 360, but I still got a 3.7 spring semester.

I got my x360 for christmas '06 and my goal was to get 36,000 gamerscore in one year, I'm at 27,560 right now and I don't think I'm going to make it :( note the only sports title I've played was FNR3.

personal side-note. I played 50 games on my original xbox, between fall 2003 and Fall 2006 and I've played almost 40 full (non-arcade) titles on my 360 this year.
