I come to you with a humble request. Like most of you, I love to buy all the new consoles and all of the newest, hottest titles. There was nothing more relaxing than coming home, picking a game up from the shelf, and sinking into the recliner for hours. So you can imagine my shock and great sadness when I came home last night and all of my consoles, games, and even my extensive anime collection were stolen.

Hey everyone,
I see someone else is plugging their LBP level on this board, so I figured I'd plug mine as well, except you don't have to play anything if you don't want to. After an exhausting 10 hours of work, I finally finished up a LittleBigPlanet level I've been putting off for months. I have a song called "Voodoo Hero" so i figured it was only fitting to make a LBP level to tell the story of the song. You can find the video here:

A price drop is really all thats needed along with a better marketing strategy. Focusing on the casual market is not the answer at all. The wii has that audience locked down pretty tight already and you can see the attempt from Microsoft with Avatars fell on deaf ears for the most part. Besides, theres enough unique games like that on PSN that have their own identity (Flower, NobyNoby Boy). Problem is the only people who know about PSN are the hardcore gamers and those who already own the system. So, since that 200 dollar price point is pretty much impossible right now, a better marketing campaign would problably work wonders since the software lineup is more than sufficient now.

I dont get why Sony has not allowed in game music across the board like 360. I mean Sonic unleased/Pixel Junk monsters demos are perfect examples of how playing ur own music makes the game more enjoyable. Warkhawk online demo is a blast with custom soundtracks and i might buy the retail version.

Motorstorm PR is the retail game i have that supports In Game Muisc but it's lame u cant use it online.

For those with Stardust HD, how long is the game?

Its not really up to Sony, but the developers. This has been said before but alot of story driven games, like MGSIV, spend a great deal of effort and money creating a rousing orchestral score to complement the action. I do agree that shmups and racing games should always implement it and we're already seeing that with upcoming releases.

Stardust HD can last a ton of time if you're trying to get up top on the leaderboard and get all the trophies, but you can beat all 5 levels in the single player in 45 minutes or less.

I totally agree. Whenever they announced they were discontiniung a backwards compatible model, I always thought "If my PS3 ever breaks, I will be screwed". Didn't think it would ever happen and felt safe because the system is always so quiet. But in a second, it all changed. Oh well, maybe Ill try finishing a book in these 2 weeks.

I deemed myself one of the biggest Playstation fans when i convinced 2 prospective 360 buyers to go Ps3 :D. And while I do have 26 Ps3 games now, theres no way I could forsake Shadow of the Collosus, The Kingdom Hearts games (including the GBA remake one coming out December 2nd), My favorite RPGs ever Persona 3 and Final Fantasy X, and the upcoming Persona 4. Plus the God of Wars, the Xeno series...the list goes on and on.

Haha I guess thats why the fan stopped working. Add to that combined gaming time, i use my ps3 to watch an anime dvd episode everyday, and i dont have cable so i used hulu on the ps3. Now you can see how lost I'll be for 2 weeks.
