Me before Beta: "What, 21 heroes (of which I will only play a handful) with only 3 skills and no level ups and items, and a handful of maps and modes? Yeah, sure."
After Beta "Give it to me NOW!"
So I guess it did it's job. It just does everything, from gameplay to heroes to match stats, wonderfully.
This would be better as a smaller, 30$ Blood Dragon kind of experience. But if FC4 was FC3 with snow, this is looking like FC3 - guns + animal possession.
Yes, he is Dante, if he was beaten senseless and dragged though a mile of garbage. And change isn't the problem for me. The gameplay is the only half decent thing about the game, and then I look at the rest: graphics, story, characters, sound design, voicework, the developers, their hopes for the game and it just falls flat on every single category.
@chronocommander @Jeredia Want feedback on the review? It makes some good points on the gameplay, but it's still incomplete and makes me sad that this is what he considers to be a good story, mentioning everyone favorite word nowadays in games, maturity. Want a good review? Look for Adam Sessler's one.
