Nvidia is no small chip developer. If there's a profitable market you bet they would be involved. I still think.that the new consoles will take several years before consumers will be in the marketplace to upgrade. Just this February MS sold over 300,000 Xbox 360's. I don't believe these consumers are too willing to fork out more money this Xmas on another new console. AMD isn't in good financial shape right now and maybe looking for any business to stay alive. Wish them luck and hope Nvidia made a wise business decision.
Idea of console manufactures raising game prices may lead to more games waiting for the prices to drop before purchasing a new release. No wonder why the consoles wanted to band used games from their new console releases.
