Teaching yourself, or taking someone's word for what to do and how to do it in an open forum, about overclocking stuff in your PC is like teaching yourself, our getting public advice on how to successfully disarm explosive devices. You MAY get the overclock right; more likely, you'll be wrong. In this instance that will mean some components you really need will be fried, and the fine folks who advised you won't have to worry about the hassle and expense; YOU WILL. Willing to risk that?

Get on the web run some searches for cpu/overclocking.......................watch your @$$ and don't get on some shaky web site where you can pick up god only knows what virus! Do some reading...............then decide if yu want to try overclocking. A much better option is to go to a tech savvy friend/associate you trust , and see if they're willing to supervise you the first couple times so you don't fry any of your gear. Three good/safe resource site links below:

Good luck!

Not sure about that, but the whole site redesign and discard of all my previous info and tracked games is an error. Probably not much help to your question though, how the bleep are you planning on playing a shooter on Wee? With a tennis racquet? Just kidding.

Actually, it's BF 1942, Desert Combat, BF 2, BF 2142, BFBC 2, and BF 3.

It get's better GFX with each descendent, and the recent advent of much more destructible terrain is pretty cool. Same crew running around like a disturbed anthill (me too), jumping into the vehicle you're repairing and taking off with it, jumping into the vehicle you've perfectly positioned to support other team members........................and taking off with it, piloting helicopters only to jump out unannounced (not having taken any damage) leaving the rest of you to see how good your reaction time is, drunkenly piloting the chopper (without having taken damage) into WHATEVERRR killing all on board, talking adolescent keyboard badass smack to one another nearly incessantly (many are not guilty of this, but far too many are), same across the board underpowered and "balanced for gameplay" weapons, no spawn armor so spawn camping pricks can shoot you right away, you get the drift. See? It IS BF 1942. ;)

I haven't played any MP since 2010 (BFBC 2), and while I've (mostly) enjoyed the BF 4 Beta (nice of EA/DICE to invite me/us!), it only took about 10 mins to realise I was playing BFBC 2 again (without MCOMS.............used to play Rush exclusively...............kinda miss those MCOMS now that I think of them). If you paint your car a different color, put different wheels on it, and modify the engine..................it's still your car. Pretty much the same with arcade shooter franchises.

BTW: A heartfelt thanks to the few good chopper pilots out there! Spawned into the gunners seat last night with some unknown gamer, who was freakin' awesome at flying between the buildings, diving and swooping like mad.......................... And as far as those two scum who were doing the same for "the other team"......................I hate you! LOL! Oh yea........................and hats off to the few good tank drivers and top gunners out there! It's always a pleasure to team with you!

I just picked up a DL copy of 2033 on Steam for $15.00....................so it's pretty affordable if you want to get the back story.

farcry.nexusmods.com

At least a couple of their mod packages feature Neverland 2 for FC3. This installs a "take", or "no take" option for enemy camps. If you select the no take option, you capture the camp, but enemy troops continue to spawn in the area. When you leave the camp it reverts back to the pirates/mercs. Allows for a much more dynamic type of gameplay, and if you avoid the main missions, or at least the last one...........it's pretty much an endless shoot fest with the pirates/mercs. Not sure if the mod is available as a stand alone or not; you should be able scope that out in their file category section.

Of course.....................if you're a console gamer............................. :(
