@ecter1216 no way, man. this would just pad the pockets of c-level execs and shareholders. the guys making it happen would likely not see a cent of it.

@Garforth I think it could have been much worse. I don't know if I would say he was professional though. The good thing is that Tom represented a pretty large number of frustrated shooter fans with his opinions here. Like I said before, I hope things like this make games better instead of causing people to act all righteously indignant.

It looks pretty boring to me. Also, this is EA. EA wants to make something profitable and get some of that CoD pie just like tons of other devs out there. I'm glad this conversation occurred and that this opposition to cookiecutter war shooters gets some coverage. Hopefully, it will lead to better games instead of more people saying that either of these dudes are a "disgrace" to their respective industries.

You wouldn't have written this article if it was 'a handful of goading voices.' The overwhelming majority opinion is that Bioware gave us a bad ending to a great series. Simple as that. There are plenty of easy fixes to this problem, and the likelihood that none of them will come to light is disappointing. Your art comparison does not stand to reason as this product's intent is consumption and profit. Pretty sure Monet wouldn't have charged me 10 extra bucks to see his entire painting, and I very much doubt that he would have finished said painting in crayons out of laziness and call it 'artistic expression.'
