@2tonjunk @DeFiLeDTitan Supply and demand. It's not that what they do is all that important in making the world turn on a daily basis. It's the fact that there are literally millions and millions of people across the world that pay money for tickets, gear, etc. You can't really blame the athletes. They are the best at what they do and should get compensated for it. How much the get compensated has been determined by the public's spending.
@DarkSaber2k @cws3e I tend to agree. It's really 2 different topics, and there really isn't an easy answer to either one. 1) Should student athletes be allowed to make money off of their name? and 2)Should the schools/NCAA/Publishers be allowed to make money off of their names/likeness?
@FallenOneX @kalipekona I guess the better question would be, do you actually have a legitimate reason for buying something besides Home? Most people in a home environment for playing games, do not.
@FallenOneX @kalipekona Where are you looking that the OS costs $150? I'm pretty sure MS software licensing prices are set by MS, not by Stores (Unless the store is running some special and taking a hit on the OS sale). You can get Win 7 Home OEM for $99 at newegg, microcenter, etc.
@WereCatf @Baelath but you have to log into those services many times to play those games. I guess, Far Cry 3 would be a prime example. Purchased through Steam, but still requires Uplay to be logged in and running. Will the new SteamOS support these features, or at least, provide some sort of work around, or will there be no access to these games? It's a valid question for certain titles.
@RedDragonGecko @deathstream You do have to check in every so many days though, like 2 weeks or something like that. Can't remember off the top of my head.
@watchuwad If you list this as a valid reason for not getting the console (which it isn't btw), then you had already made up your mind anyway and just wanted another reason to complain.
