@cboye18 Stalin was an evil dictator, directly related to the death of nearly 3 million Russians?

If you are going to read year one, you should probably go ahead and check out The Long Halloween and Dark Victory. And of course there is The Killing Joke. Another good one for those not looking to get too heavily invested.

Man, I will never forget the first time I heard "To Zanarkand". To this day, it's not only one of my favorites songs from a video game, but one of my favorite songs period.

@bunchanumbers @Gamerhomer But it wasn't just a controller. They showed software that would be available on the system as well...

Regardless of the concept of the controller itself, or the potential of it, I was very underwhelmed by the 3rd announcement. A controller is something that could have easily been rolled into the hardware announcement made on Wednesday. I really thought we would get some sort of software announcement. 3rd announcement on 9/27, would have been perfect to announce one, or all, of their '3' titles as timed exclusives on SteamOS. I guess it just kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.

@Alecmrhand As far as the player likeness goes, ilovecrackers pretty much hit it. They make the players the same ethnicity, general physical attributes, numbers and positions. Basically the only thing they don't add is the players names.

@ilovecrackers @kungfuj0 @cws3e I don't think anyone is saying he should make $37 million. That's not the case at all. It comes down to, should he be allowed to make money for himself, because of what the market has deemed his value? Why should he be punished for making $20 for an autograph, while the school fills the stadium each week at $50 a pop, at roughly 85,000 seats? I don't think the NCAA should pay players. I don't think the schools should pay players. Then it does turn into a bidding war for the best players in the country. But I think the players themselves should be able to do what they want with their own likeness, name, etc.

@Alecmrhand I don't think its a matter of the NCAA/schools paying players, as much as, should the player make money for themselves because of who they are and what they are worth? Any major athlete for a D1 football program is worth millions of dollars to the schools/ncaa. Between tickets, Jerseys/gear, tv deals, etc. that is a substantial amount of money. Make no mistake, it's all a business. I'm not saying there is an easy answer, but when a kid can't make $20 for signing his own name to a picture, there is something wrong.

@theKSMM Johnny Manziel got interviewed by the NCAA for 6 hours straight because he signed a bunch of autographs. At the same time, the NCAA had official Texas A&M No.2 jerseys up on their store. They had to pull them because of the backlash due to the hypocrisy of it. I'm not saying that major college athletes get plenty of perks, but to think that their names/images are not exploited by the schools/NCAA is kind of naive.
