They are still going to say that SW only listens to gamespot's reviews. This game didn't flop, but everybody is jumping to the conclusion that GS review=the bible.

He actually wasn't whining :?. He actually brought up a good point, but all you wanted to do was try to insult him. I am with the TC on this one, did you even read the opening post. Sounds like you are the one whining in this situation.
The majority of GR reviews = fanboy mag or site which drives up the score.
That being said, after playing the demo of R&C, I thought it would had at least got an 8.0. I was .5 off.
Ace Combat 6 sounds like a great game, but just not my type of game.

I do agree with the fanboy mags, but IGN and 1up are also fairly non biased reviewers at the moment.
This game looks brilliant though. I have never played an ace combat game before, but this one is making me want to try this genre out. I have never heard any hype about this game yet, which surprises me because this game looks magnificent.
That actually sounds like a fairly good idea. I think using .1 increments makes the reviewing process too tedious, while a .5 leaves a huge selection of games getting the same exact score.

Well, if we are going by GS, then every PS3 game will flop. Anybody that has half a brain would now that GS ratings are only one opinion. To get a true feel for the game you have to look at all the major rating sites. Therefore R&C did not flop. It was hyped AAA and it got AAA.

How confused do you have to be to make cow sounds on a message board? We need to stop hyping games and accept them for what they are. 7.5 means good.
Sure its good, but im still not wasting 60 bucks on a 7.5 rated game thats considered easy.
Fact is the PS3 failed to have a single AAA tittle in its first year.
This is a AAA title :|. The game scored AAA average on almost all the gaming sites. If you think a game flopped just because of gamespot, then that is a completely different problem. The PS3 struck success in 2007, and R & C looks to be an awesome game and gave the PS3 hope in 2007.

All they are trying to do is attract the people who get off at watching gory games. The guns look okay, the environments are too bland, the graphics are last year, and the enemies have the intelligence of a fish. The only reason this game is even popular is because of the gore, which says alot about the future of video games :(. It is not even allowed to be mentioned in the same sentence as superior shooting games such as Half-Life, Quake, Unreal tournament, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, or Halo.
