Meanwhile, games like The Division, Destiny, and GTA Online have proven that having leveled-up gear in PvP is exactly how NOT to do it. Good luck trying to play a legit game of GTA Online where much of the game's content has to be played in a public lobby full of people in flying cars that shoot homing missiles, and cash means nothing to them because they used money glitches to get billions before it was patched. New players don't stand a chance.
Sea of Thieves isn't a "my stats are higher than yours" type of game. Having everyone on a level playing field means that it's down to strategy and skill. We've already seen solo players take on a galleon and win. If you lose a fight, then that's on you...not the game. The fact that some people here can't understand such a simple concept is disturbing.
It's one thing to argue about how much or how little gun control should be done in different situations. What I don't get is the "let's not talk about it" argument that people bring up.
Every time there's a mass shooting, certain politicians and news groups (you know who they are) refuse to have a serious talk about the topic and say things like "now's not the right time" or "that would be inappropriate to the families of the victims". These mass shootings seem to be happening on a weekly basis. When is that appropriate time going to be?
Valve and Steam are both jokes nowadays. Valve tossed their IPs and game programmers out the window so they could concentrate on shoving VR down our throats. Steam is a mountain of trash "greenlight" games, with great sales on actual good games being rare (and even those sales are pretty pathetic to how they were a couple years ago).
GOG gives me most of what I need on PC. I haven't bought anything on Steam in a few years.
State of Decay is the last time I played I game that actually redefined a genre. All other survival games feel half-assed compared to it. The strategy, difficulty, and variety of methods to survive were done so well.
Look at those views. Everyone is interested in it and having fun with the game. The first closed beta wasn't enough and they are back for more. Your tears must be saltier than the ocean in Sea of Thieves.
Sea of Thieves was breaking records on Twitch and was enjoyed by countless people, despite the beta only having one of the 3 factions and holding back it's end game content.
Looks like the concerns are only from butt-hurt Sony fanboys considering how rabid they are acting in the comments section.
Smite was superior, anyways. The season 5 changes they have planned look very hype.
Meanwhile, it would be nice if they gave refunds to people who purchased Fortnite for the co-op game considering that's clearly not where the vast majority of resources went.
