Leslie is acting like this is her franchise and people are stealing it from her. She needs to wake up. We want the original crew in their rightful roles.

Sadly, the same sony that made that 2016 atrocity is making the new one, so I'm not getting excited about it. You know they will mess it up somehow.

Unoriginal comment, but I'll say it anyways:

My biggest issue with dark zones in the first game was how they went from an interesting PvPvE experience to being strictly PvP. Ubisoft caved in on the demands from PvP players and kept modifying things until it became a "no risk, all rewards" situation for them. That wasn't how the mode was initially designed. Now add in the insane time-to-kill from tankiness, excessive amounts of healing, server-hopping 8 member rogue squads, and the fact that for the longest time the DZ was the only place to get good loot. It's no wonder things fizzled out.

At least it looks like the Division 2 is trying to take care of griefers and dial things back a bit. However, from everything they have announced so far, it sounds like they are still spending too much time catering to the PvP crowd and not adding enough for the PvE crowd.

@Xristophoros: It's only unfortunate if you are a sony fanboy. No one else has issues with it.

@onehitta323: Must be another sony fanboy who's mad that Forza Horizon series has DESTROYED the Gran Turismo series again.

And think...this is all before their new studios from E3 begin releasing games. It's only going to get better. I can't wait to see what Ninja Theory makes next!

@santinegrete: The main advantage are the games themselves. When you look at everything it offers and how little the price is, it's damn near foolish to not have it. However, I believe they also give discounts on the exclusives should you choose to buy it (I think 20%).

Once you play Saints Row 2, all of these other city/crime open-world games pale in comparison.

So it's just like the first game but with more maps, co-op, hostile human factions, and more base-building options?

Where's that preorder button...

@RicanV: "I think it's a bit unfair to blame the media for underrating a game because it's Microsoft."

Except part of that "media" are places like Gamespot, which has a reputation as being biased against anything related to MS.

For instance, you said that this game should be compared to NMS for having similar flaws. Alright, let's do that. You guys gave NMS a 7, and that's with those developers flat out lying to gamers as well as not even having real multiplayer. On the other hand, Rare made update videos up to the game's release with what would be in the final launch and it allows for an ACTUAL multiplayer experience with friends. In addition, there's end-game content that you guys (as well as the "day one review" people out there) likely haven't even touched yet.

The way I see it, Sea of Thieves has already proven to be better than NMS and should therefore be given a better rating. But is that going to happen? It's an MS title reviewed on Gamespot, so I'm guessing not.
