@Yomigaeru @HapiJoel No, he may dream big but what ends up happening is that the programmers underneath him have to implement his "dreams" into reality and the games always came out broken or half-finished... after he overhyped them the year or two before their release. This happens with everything he ever makes including cancelled projects and that stupid cube thing that you could click or tap with your touch screen or PAY MONEY to remove little pieces of it.

He won an undeserved lifetime achievement award or something for his games and I remember reading the comments where everyone was bashing him. If you're as old as I am and remember each of his games, he promised the stars on all of them and delivered nothing amazing or even deep in content.

Looks like shit. He overhyped everything he made and failed to deliver on all counts. This game is no different. "OOH WOW LOOK, I CAN CLICK HERE AND HERE, AND LOOK I MOVED THIS AND THE SETTLER MADE A HOUSE. ISN'T THIS ASTONISHING...?"

Lmao... don't fall for this crap again. He's such a joke it's amazing any of you give this a real look.

Hah! I'm 24 and have felt the same way for a few years now. It just gets more pathetic over time. Little kids pretending they know what a good game is and thinking $60 to pay for an expansion as completely reasonable says it all in that one act... That they've probably never played any games or systems before the Xbox One, or in this case played SC1, Warcraft 3, TFT and the old battle.net's custom games. Stuff like that should've been built and expanded on -- not going backwards with less features and content that cost more money for the consumer. I'll never pay it because I know they're lying about not being able to deliver the same amount of content that they used to. I'm old enough to remember when it wasn't about the bottom line.

Gamer is right. You have no idea what you're talking about, like when you claimed D3 is better than the first two Diablos. No, just no. But hey if you want to get screwed out of $180 for "The best RTS out there " lmao, then have fun. Just know that by supporting Blizzard in its current downtrend you're supporting less content for games that shouldn't be priced at $60. Less content that costs more? No thanks, I'm all set. Especially paying that for what are literally expansions. If you can't see the obvious ripoff then I hate to say but you deserve it. It's just too bad it perpetuates more crappy AAA development because they can get away with suckering people like yourself, while giving up on what made them great mediums of entertainment for those like Gamer and I who loved their past work.

At the beginning of the video, can anyone tell me what armor mod he's using and the cape/cloak mod he's using? I think the backpack is from the survival mod but I'm not 100% sure of that. If it's not, could someone tell me the name of that one too? Thanks!

Just gonna wait for Company of Heroes 2 and Rome 2: Total War. Blizzard is one of the 3 companies never getting my money again. It's sad, because Warcraft 3: TFT was my favorite game of all time. The game itself was amazing in all aspects but the online custom games made it my favorite of all time.

@Darkreaper_1 I won't even buy a product from Blizzard since WoL and Diablo 3. They're not the same company any more.

@L0mak @PseudoElite Agreed L0mak. Especially characters like Raynor... the departure from the writing and even his physique - since Starcraft 1 just screamed "we're only catering to the South Korean stereotypical image of an American because our game is their official sport, so they matter more." Which is fine if they're a bigger customer to please, but don't make the sequel worse rather than an improvement because of it.

Johnny your video was both accurate and informative. I'm glad both sides of the argument got to voice their opinions, even though one is misguided and devoted to being bent over. The review score was perfectly fine. Every review has always been based on the release. Just because some people wanted SimCity to succeed because of their fond memories of the earlier iterations, doesn't make it okay to break the rules and give EA a whole week or two leeway to "fix" the game - which was shipped broken.

The funny thing is, the other games out there that aren't always-online would have deserved a "second review" more than this, because always-online DRM is part of the foundations of the game! Something that WILL NOT be patched out regardless of consumer outcry makes it worse than the developers who ACTUALLY fix their games!

A lot of the commenters were right. This game is a shame, EA is a disgrace, and I hope and pray no developer/publisher will ever attempt always-online DRM ever again. It attempts to fight piracy when it really only hurts the law-abiding customers. Oh, and look, a week-and-a-half later there's already an offline hack. What a complete waste lmao. You seriously can't make this stuff up.
