AH - "We would like to remove AH to shut everyone up but the moneyzzzzz are too hard to resist...
PVP - "Even thou we said we were never planning to have PVP balanced, after watching our official forum mods with heavy depressions and about to kill themselves we would rather spare them those sad fates and try to come up with something that won't make players whine even louder than they currently do"
There's always room for MP even if it's somewhat superficial. I am a SP type of guy, love rpgs and i have 2 pc games that are exclusive MP that fill me up on that. However simple concepts like Auction Houses (like Forza) or world hop (like Fable) are cool concepts that can give you from a more subtle to a more heavy MP experience that can totally change the game for you and make it more interactive. Games like WoW sell so well because they are very well crafted but also incorporate socialization and item customization very well and you can use some of those concepts in RPG games to give them a more MP feel. Because honestly i don't wanna play some games in MP but if i can show my friends my chars (or see theirs) without needing screenshots it's already MP for me.
Good interview overall. I agree with some things and strongly disagree with others, but it was insightful to what Bioware goals are becoming. However i just can't accept any reasoning to the removal of the isometric view for the pc. Despite it's shortcomings it's an enjoyable game nonetheless, and after this year compare what Origins won (awards) to what DA2 may win so you can realize wether this game was a step up or not. Oh and listen to what your fans want as well, not just what you think is better :).
