I'm on about 3,000 I think, and I've only had my xbox since last November. I definitely don't play for achievements, the only game I've ever played for achivements is Fifa 11, 'cause I bloody love that game.
The Fifa 11 ultimate team forums are immensely popular, but I doubt you play it or want to talk about ultimate team either :P There are a lot of off topic topics there and there is next to no moderation, except for really bad stuff like scamming/phishing etc. That's the only other forum I use.
Craigslist? It costs too much to sell on ebay and I'm not sure about amazon.

Yeah, Craigslist is a maybe but I don't know how long it'd take to sell on there. I know that eBay and Amazon will both sell pretty quickly. Do you know how long it usually takes on Craigslist?
I haven't been able to sell a single thing related to electronics or games or movies on Craigslist...But that may just be me. I've had great luck with furniture, though.
Well I probably won't use Craigslist then :) I also don't like the idea of meeting up with people either, I'm still not decided on whether to go Amazon or eBay though.

Ebay is the cheaper option for listing but I'm pretty sure PayPal takes a bigger chunk than Amazon does. One nice thing about Amazon is that you don't pay anything until your item is sold and then they skim off the price.spazzx625
