@atherworld: While this is a Kickstarter title, I have to concur.
Being able to patch games has made developers lazy. Not all, but most... Gearbox, Naughty Dog and a number of other devs still put out awesome products from the get-go, but there's plenty, like BioWare, Ubisoft, Capcom, Activision, EA and more that just rush, rush, rush.
@sladakrobot: I would've actually preferred an ME Trilogy Definitive Edition to Andromeda... and it would've turned out better, to boot. Just include all DLC, multiplayer servers intact, bump it up to 60FPS and really polish the graphics from the ground up.
This just confirms that they released Andromeda as a half baked product. The patch notes might as well read "Will finish the game."
In all seriousness, they got a looong way to go to get this game from a 6/10 to, at most, an 8. Really hoping that stability increase goes a long way for the constantly laggy, consistently crashing, multiplayer. I loved it so much in ME3, but all Andromeda's MP does for me is make me want to play ME3's.
@Tomcat2007: Good thing it has the games, now, eh?
Like, you'll never see Xbox One with a masterpiece on the level of Bloodborne, for instance, nor will you see it put out three exclusives, within a month, all of which are awesome, like Nioh, Horizon and NieR.
