This looks so samey samey. Might as well be a C&C mod.

This has all been done 10000's of times before.

It's always irked me that when air units fight they just sit there and fire. MOVE! Strafe!

Soft lock better not rear its ugly head on PC. That's a console pansy trick.

And here lies the problem with scoring systems.... How many of you whining shites would give this a ten? a nine-point-eight? Every last one of yers. Why? 'Cause you're just not objective.

That's what a review is! An objective report of that person professional play through.

Have some cheese with that whine. Damn kids.

@Carbon1984 That's where you're wrong. 1) Even CoD has DLC. And that's the biggest ££$$ making game in history. It's as you say at the bottom, greed. DLC will now always exist because idiots buy it. Expansions that add a lot of content are fine, but paying money for 1 or 2 maps or a gold gun or a dogtag.... Ugh. 2) Reviews systems will never advance beyond what they are now. You have written, audio and (a mix of the both) video reviews. There's nothing else that CAN be done. 'Lest the gamespot crew go on a review tour of members' houses. 3) Again, a lot of ££$$ from AAA games does not equal innovation. It equals sequels galore as developers milk the cash cow. DLC is the scourge of the gaming world and the sooner people realise it and stop buying it, the better.

Most y'all are missing the point. Like we can skip cinematics, why not have a button for skipping combat. Easy. Simple. Probably turn off the prompt in the options if it's that bad to you. It's not something I'd ever use. I don't use a screen resolution bigger than 1600x1050 either but that's not to say I'll go pitch fork in hand to the next developer that says they'll think about maybe but not even probably adding a bigger resolution option. Why would you continue to attack her now, once it's been spelt out in an EASY TO UNDERSTAND and unbiased way? No rhetoric. No lies. Just what she meant. And why.

Now that this paid for DLC thingy has caught on (we can only blame ourselves, right?) it's a slippery slope into what the above article briefly puts on. Even terrible games get DLC nowadays (Alien Vs Predator for example) and then there's the Dawn of War ones ... BUY A GOLDEN POWERWORD?! YES PLEASE! WAIT!!! YOU'RE NOT EVEN USING LUBE!! When will it all end? How long before a publisher thinks "hang on, if 4 million people are paying top £$£$ for a map pack containing 4 maps... lets see how many pay for 3.... then 2.... then 1...." "How much for a pint of Guinness?" "1$" "Very reasonable, I'll have a pint please" "Would you like a glass with that....."
