The review justifies his score if you actually read it. I loved evreything about the first game, so I imagine I'll be liking this one quite a bit as well, can't imagine ranking it a 10 though. To this day I've played one perfect 10 video game. Tetris.

@skiggy34 @Terminator95 I agree that Bloodborne can definitley be accomplished on X1 and PC, however I disagree that Evolve and Quantum Break look any wear near as good or fun. personal opinion. I'll give you The Witcher though.

First off, glad to see a fan of the Warriors games write a review for a Warriors game. Second, I know Nintendo is banking on the Zelda paint-job to get this one in the hands of people outside of Japan who don't even know what Dynasty Warriors is, but Omega Force does their damnedest to make great products for fans of the respected series with these mash-ups, and if you can allow themselves, I bet a lot of puzzle solving Zelda fans will have a good time with this.

I have been having fun with the game, but in the same respect, this review pretty much nails it. Collectivity the game is little more than a more polished version of last year's Defiance video game spin-off, fueled by an mega high caliber hype wagon because it's the from the dude's who made Halo. I'm baffled as to where most of the development money went, as the writing and over design, especially the aliens and environments, are positively abysmal. For god sakes, one of the enemies is a giant floating ball... The aesthetics are some of the most phoned in, pedestrian sci-fi fodder BS I've seen since well, Halo.

The game does play really well, and it is fun with friends, and while I personally was never a giant Halo fan, I feel the hype for this one blew it WAY out of proportion. Also, it sounds like they held Peter Dinklage at gunpoint.

It may be my bias towards weird Japanese games, but I've been having GOOD FUN with this game. It's hilariously bizarre, plays like Yakuza, and there is a large amount of items and equipment to find. Again, this may be me as I loved the hell out of both Rumble Roses, Yakuza: Dead Souls, all The Way of The Samurai games, and a whole bunch of other weird niche stuff that honestly had no right making it's way outside of it's country of origin. It's apparent this game was not for this reviewer, and I can respect that. But if you happen to like crazy Japanese s**t like myself that's a bit outside the typical NIS Otaku mania we usually get, chances are you're going to LOVE THIS GAME.

I honestly don't even know how this game got off the initial drawing board stages without at least some kind of random loot system set in stone. It boggles my freaking mind. They did however manage to write a script and hire voice actors for what is easily one of the most annoying collection of characters I've experienced in a game in a good while. Also, in one of the later levels there is actually a gravestone dedicated to "The Fallen Warriors of Ascaron". Super classy.

@Gelugon_baat I don't think we got Ghost Master here in the states, but I do remember The Haunting: Staring Polterguy for Sega Genesis. Sadly, that wasn't very good either.

@lewisowlcave @DinoBuster Thanks for replying. When I say "hire an artist", I really mean get an artist involved. There are so many illustrators, concept designs, musicians, etc. that would love to go along for the ride and lend their talents to a game even if they can't be promised a lot of money. Regardless, I'm glad to hear you're game is doing well, and I wish you the best of luck with it.

In the instance of this game it seems the two people who put it together managed to write a decent story and characters, but this isn't a novel, it's an interactive experience where the visual element plays an integral part or portraying the product. From now on, whenever you guys review one of these indie games and I feel the criticism is warranted, I'm just going to post "HIRE AN ARTIST".
