King Crimson are alright, some good tracks and superior musicianship, but it's their fans that put me off. Some of them I know like King Crimson just for the intellectual appeal, and it's this pretention that puts me off.

As long as they're wearing ear protection, I don't see a problem with it, particularly if it's an Open Air gig/festival, where you can move away if it's too loud

Conjuration

The cases I'm speaking of are the ones with no hearing protection.
I this particular case (and every other case I've seen) no hearing protection is provided for the infants, and the parents don't move away from the speakers, outside or not.
Good points you raised.

I must say, the only babies I've ever seen have been at 3 day open air festivals, and the babies have been given probably more ear protection than was needed and have also been given alternate methods of entertainment while the bands were on, and these parents were sitting in chairs at the very back of the crowd. But I've never witnessed a baby in an indoor concert, but some of the venues where I attend have such loud speakers for confined spaces, it damages my ears, never mind a 2 month old child. So obviously, I would oppose the notion for indoor gigs.

Helloween, Rage, Grave Digger, Liege Lord, Agent Steel, Tankard.

Some awesome '80's Metal there, and most of them are still going strong.

Black Sabbath is metal :P.

But, yeah, Sabbath has so many great songs :D.

I know they're Metal, but to the average listener, they're just Rock. Incidentally, Black Sabbath were the band that introduced me to Metal, and anything heavier than Europe and Whitesnake, at age 5. So if I must, must, must pick a classic rock track, I'll go for Stargazer.

Black Sabbath was how I got into metal as well :P. I've gotten into a lot more metal since, but Black Sabbath and Paranoid are still two of my all-time favorite albums.

You sir, are win! Anyone who gets into Metal through Black Sabbath deserves some street cred. I'm a Dio era fan primarily, but love the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album. On a final note, I think we'd best let this thread get back on topic....
