They need to make games that are not f-ing crap. Games by gamers for gamers, not @!#¤ like the Modern Warfare series and stuff.

Many servers have instant respawn, so you might enjoy that more than classic CS since you'd probably die every single round without doing anything. You won't get much practise if you spectate all the time, so I definitely suggest instant respawn. Or, as the guy above me said, the smaller FY_ maps are excellent too.

There's also this option. It's a nice bit cheaper too.

Go under "Specifikationer" to see the specs.

looking at those prices from a north american perspective makes my eyes bleed but i guess those are the prices in Denmark for computer parts. I'd go for the Data Discount offer myself If you aren't going to be maxing out the newest most demanding games, the GTX560 is more than enough, plus the core I7 is also a definite plus. I personally wouldn't go for the solid state drive, they are quite expensive and getting rid of it would save you a bit of money with which you could ask for an upgrade to the 570 at the second place. anyways, the second one...Custodian405

Thank you. My friend (who is more into hardware than I am) suggested that I buy this laptop instead: http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/consumer/computer-peripherals/notebook/rf-series/NP-RF712-S01HK/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail

The idea of gaming on a laptop is just strange to me. I wouldn't use the monitor or the keyboard; it would be only for the hardware, and I can't fathom how a laptop can be better for pure gaming purposes than a normal computer. :s

They're both overpriced... :?MonsieurX

Lol :( not quite what I was hoping for.

The reason I don't just buy it online is because I want the support. The machine I have right now was costum built by my sister's boyfriend, but everytime something is wrong, I must hope that he can fix it (never mind that he lives 5 hours away from me and I have no car) or else I am screwed.

Hello GS,

I had two local computer stores suggest me a computer they could build for me based on my budget and the information I provided them. Since you always have to distrust people who sell things I'd really appreciate if you smart guys could help me pick one and/or suggest improvements for the machines. The following lists are suggestions, so if I want something changed I will just tell them.

My budget is around 10.000 DDK / 1350 euro / 1935 dollars.

Both offers do not include Windows7 as I am still in doubt whether or not I want them to include it. It's rather expensive.

Both also suggested getting a SSD harddrive and putting my Windows plus my most-played game(s) on it, and then having all my other things, like music, films and Steam (+games) on the bigger harddrive. I thought the SSD technology was too expensive for me, but I like the idea and it seems very well doable with my budget.

Here are what they came up with:

LabTech Data:

- Intel Core i5-250 3300Mhz
- Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3 ATX
- 2x DDR3 4GB/1333Mhz, Kingston
- Intel 80GB SSD
- SATA3 1TB WD 7200RPM
- ASUS ENGTX570 DCII 2DIS 1280
- PSU 750W - Energon
- Cooler Master Elite 330

The friendly guy said that this offer makes the most out of my budget, but that it wouldn't hurt to downgrade the grafics card a bit and stuff. You guys be the judge of that.

and

Data Discount:

- MB ASUS SABERTOOTH P76 SOCKET

- PS 750W Gaming Power
- CPU Intel Core i7-2600K 3400MH
- DDR3 8GB 2x4 HyperX 1600MH
- HD OCZ Vertex 3 Series SSD 120GB
- HD Samsung 3.5'' 2TB 32MB EcoG
- PCI-E Club 3D GeForce PCI-E GTx560

I'm a gamer; I enjoy playing games and I want them to work properly. I sadly don't know enough about these things, so if you guys could give me all the imput you can think of, that would be great! If anything is too expensive/doesn't make sense/whatever! please let me know.

I'll use the computer for games like BF3, Diablo 3, GW2 and other not-so-demanding games. I'm not sure if this information is relevant, but now you know.

Much love!
