Two years into the consoles life cycles and they are getting 20-30 fps on average, worryingly underpowered, both systems.

@noobmedia: Nobody mentioned CoD. Stop hating on it for the sake of hating on it. Say what you want about CoD but you used the wrong word, because CoD is one of the most 'polished' series in FPS history, it refines what it does very well with no issue.

@peterhorner1867 Amen. Frames over resolution any day, I wish developers would realise that. Or atleast have a mini options menu for consoles, similar to a PC, just give the option of a higher resolution at the expense of some frames, or a lower resolution with a stable 30/60 fps.

Thief is one of the best ports I've ever played for PC, I'm really impressed with the wealth of options available and how buttery smooth it runs. Only 'meh' thing I've run into is the combat system, which can actually be a good thing! You're not supposed to fight, so it discourages you in a way.

Highly recommended, will be picking up Castlevania LoS2 aswell!

Just because a game has average reviews, doesn't mean you might not enjoy it. Not every game is going to be that GOTY standard we want it to be.

I hope you're not talking about the 5 PS1 classics, because I play them all religiously and they are perfect.. I even play the much hated Angel of Darkness, which tried to be innovative, and then Core Design lost their IP because of it.

Crystal Dynamic TR's on the otherhand, all four of them (including the reboot 'Cave Raider') have been gathering dust ever since the first completion of each one respectively.

I swear the GameSpot community just moans constantly. I for one am excited because that means more people will be playing online, which means faster matchmaking. I play Halo 3 still to this day, because I wasn't a fan of 4.

Optimism, it's a great thing to have.
