@angrycreep I'm pretty impressed with the scores considering how little they were able to get out by launch. I'm pretty excited to see how this game ends up.
@IndependenceYou I see where you're coming from but I feel like separating them into categories is just less effective. If the point or reviews are to give the readers some sort of metric of quality, ideally, you're going to want to be able to compare them to other games of varying quality. Giving them categories is a slippery slope where now reviewers will have to define each game before they review them; what if a game isn't so easily defined? Or what if a game is a mix of different genres? It ends up just being a mess. At the end of the day, I think all people want are numbers. Numbers they can easily use to compare to other games.
Just to put this in perspective: Tom McShea also felt Bioshock: Infinite was a 4. I'm not saying this game is amazing or that I'm butthurt it got a low score but I'm sure it's higher than a 4.
@bluefox755 @Ddcooljoe Here's a list of good/promising exclusive titles we currently know about it: NSMBU+NSLU dlc, Nintendo Land, Game and Wario, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Windwaker HD, DK: Tropical Freeze, Super Mario 3d world, Mario Kart 8, future Zelda game that is in the works, new smash brothers, sonic lost world is sorta exclusive, bayonetta 2, Wii Party U, new Monolith Soft game in the works, shin megami x fire emblem. What more do you need??
@bluefox755 If you don't like Nintendo games then you really shouldn't worry about getting one anyway. Just forget about it. If you do, then I don't possibly see how could think that it's not worth it.
@theugly773 You know, I feel exactly the same about Suda51. I have even compared him to Quentin Tarantino myself. This is a bit of a letdown but hopefully his games in the future will learn from the mistakes of this one.
I am a bit disappointed in this game. The camera angles can be really finicky and the combat does lack depth. Boss fights are also insanely hard at times. Most of the time you have to wait for them to attack and then dodge at the last second to do a lot of damage but some attacks are hard to dodge so you just end up getting hit and dying a lot. However, probably what I tend to like the most out of Suda 51 games is the style. The graphics look amazing (minus the odd screen tearing issues) and the game is dark and the killings are brutal. Even though the gameplay is a bit dissatisfying, the game still has its redeeming qualities. If you like Suda games, you will probably like it. Otherwise, mehhh.
@xeoneex66 @walmongerer What problems do people still have with Microsoft anyway? I don't understand why people are still so bitter. They pretty much got rid of all the things people were mad about. I feel like at this point, Microsoft could add a gun to the Xbox One that just shoots money at you while you play and people would find a way to hate it. I don't get it.
