@fisherking: Altho true it's because of fear of the feminist hate mob they would potentially get on their neck.

@pat-buckles: Signed because I'm against censorship, I don't have much interest in the game itself.

@Die_Bahn: Show me something to the contrary. They are facts, your dogmatic world view just does not allow you to see it. I'm going to trust a professor of philosophy and scholar at a think tank and someone who has been a feminist since the 70's over a random person on the internet any day. You're gonna have to do better then just asserting she is a liar.

This is censorship thus it is wrong. If you want women to be portrayed differently in games make your own games and let the market decide. You're playing into people who will never ever touch this game to begin with. I think Hello Kitty games suck but you don't see me going around making demands it be changed even tho I have no intention of ever playing them. I will simply not play them...period.

"Changes in attitudes towards the depiction of women in games has created a public debate between those who want a more noticeable gender equality, and those who feel such changes are detrimental or unnecessary."

Feminists like Anita Sarkeesian are not about equality, they just say they are. If you look at her actual world view you can see that she is not for equality. And then there is the fact that Sarkeesian is a so called Sex Negative Feminist, her views on sexuality are very conservative. She would rather see women be modest instead of expressing themselves, sexually or otherwise, like how they themselves choose. You can see an example like this with Bayonetta 2, some feminists thought she was empowering to women and others, like Anita, thought she was portrayed sexist.

Her brand of feminism is unfalsifiable. If you are mean to a women you are sexist, if you are nice to a woman you are sexist. You can't win in her world view.

I wish people would listen to grounded, rational and reasonable feminists like Christina Hoff Sommers.

"Like most people who grew up immersed in the neoliberal ideology of the West, I saw the world largely as a series of individuals making their own personal individual choices. And here I was, a young woman making my own personal choices about what to wear, what to buy, what to study and what I wanted to do every day. Within that narrow individualist framework feminism seemed like a relic of the distant past. Back then, I thought sexism basically boil down to a few bad apples with misguided personal beliefs born out of ignorance or overt hatred."

This is what Anita said she used to think, if this was still what she thinks I would not have a problem with it. However this is what she thinks now:

"Unfortunately many contemporary discourses in and around feminism tend to emphasize a form of hyper individualism (informed by the neoliberal worldview). More and more, I hear variations on this idea that anything that any woman personally chooses to do is a feminist act, this attitude is often referred to as “choice feminism”. Choice feminism posits that each individual woman determines what is empowering for herself, which might sound good on the surface but this concept risks obscuring the bigger picture and larger, fundamental goals of the movement by focusing on individual women and a very narrow, individual notion of “empowerment”. It erases the reality that some choices that women make have an enormous negative impact on other women’s lives." (from a video called "Anita sarkeesian: 'How to be a feminist' (All About Women 2015) )

She does not think women can make their own choices but that women have to make choices as a collective. Because when women choose for themselves they make the wrong choices. Now who here is the actual sexist huh?

She is a liar, a sexist towards both women and men, a charlatan and the Resla Aslan of content analysis.

@cristianvs: Intersectional feminists, like Anita Sarkeesian, are not trying to make the world more equal they are a gender supremacy movement and a cult. Equity feminists, like Christina Hoff Sommers, are more about actual equality and don't believe many of the crazy things intersectional feminists do.

I suggest you check out "The factual feminist" on youtube and educate yourself on some actual facts.
