If a online only game has it's server taken down then its life has come to an end

granted online is not the be all end all, online servers get taken down all the time like quake III (DC) which has homebrew servers in its place, but even w/o online you can still play Q3 offline what i'm talking about are the games I can no longer play offline or online, still debating to add games that can be played by unofficial means Twisted Metal Black can still be played like quaky e but having no access to that method naw technically I play quake III online.
