No Order.

1. KOTOR

2. Halo

3. Mario Kart (64)

4. FFVII

5. Banjo Kazooie

6. C&C Red Alert

7. Starcraft

8. Age of Empires II

9. Goldeneye

10. Rome: Total War

Im impressed by how many people chose Mass Effect. I really am. I love it, I really do, but I can't place it here. I'm sorry my beloved Shepard.

[QUOTE="DHReese"]

The votes seem to come in droves. haha.

Although I would like to ask to those that have played both, was Fallout 3 degraded for you personally since you had played Oblivion? Personally, I loved Oblivion, although I did begin to see its faults by the time I wrapped up. I don't know, Fallout 3 was awesome, especially being able to walk around where you live 250+ years in the future and I love all things dystopian, but I was never able to shake the fact I was playing a re-wrapped, but nonetheless better game. Anyone else feel that way? I feel had I not played Oblivion, I would have liked Fallout 3 alot better.

So, Mass Effect wins for me, although the side missions in Fallout 3 were far more enjoyable. Yet Mass Effect is better in more. I just love those biotics. haha

heretrix

I think both Mass Effect and Fallout 3 "suffer" from sharing ideas or tech from their predecessors. If you can look past it, they both offer an enjoyable enough experience that you can forgive the developers for it. At least some people can.

Yes, there are times where I felt "Hey, Fallout 3 does feel like the best oblivion mod ever" But I know it isn't and I get past it. It's what happens when you share tech between games.

And YES, the Mass Effect powers are definitely close enough to force powers to make me think about KOTOR 3, but once again I understand that it isn't that game and I'm enjoying what I have at the moment too much to really care.

So I don't and the problems disappear. At least until the game crashes.

While yes I agree that they both borrowed from predecessors, can they both really just be put ito the same context of each other? To me at least. sure there are remnants and concepts from previous Bioware games (mainly KOTOR for that matter) that have been placed into Mass Effect, but Oblivion to Fallout 3 seems to fly into an other class of its own, almost becoming a blatant copying of an entire game's dynamics. Sure they are great improvements and I truly do enjoy the game, but I don't know, I just feel let down by it. Who knows though, perhaps I'll have to give it time and let it become a "Gem" I can better appreciate down the line.

But the final final question comes to this, will we be playing Mass Effect 2 or Fallout 4 first? haha

Only a million? That's it? haha

But for real, its ridiculous how much accessories sell for the wii. In every game store I went into before and after Christmas, people were buying the Wii Tennis/Golf/Baseball packs or looking for those Mario Kart Wheels. Its ridiculous.

Considering I have hardly played any games this year...

For me would have to be Fallout 3. First I was able to get past the Oblivioned aspect, but in the end it finally caught up with me. Don't get me wrong I loved the dystopian setting and it was quite cool walking around near places I live now, but still something about just made me barely want to finish it. And that is a sin considering I RPG's ar emy first love.

Also I will be interested in seeing Fable 2 when I get it, considering some of the remarks in this thread.
