I think after a person has served their sentence they should be allowed to vote.

It's ok for the USA to be hypocritical in regards to invading other countries because they're still right.

It's pretty cool. Still nothing on the P1.

The CCX cars were much better looking than the Ageras.

Nothing you said makes sense.

Suppose Company A and Company B both make cellphones.

Company A is based in the USA and when all is said and done it costs them about $200 to make a phone.

Company B is based in China and can make a phone of similar quality and function as Company A for a similar $200.

In this case the American shopper has no incentive to buy the Chinese phone. The American phone is just as good, costs about the same and they get a nice, tingly feeling from supporting the domestic market.

Chinese government has decided to now give Company B big subsidies so the cost for Company B to produce the phone goes down to effectively $150.

Now the huge price difference will attract the American shopper and Company A will start losing out, unless the American government adds a $50 tariff onto that phone to remove any incentive to buy the Chinese made phone, thus protecting the local economy.

I hope you can see the pros and cons of this kind of policy.

Tariffs are good when foreign products are being subsidised by governments to allow them to undercut the domestic market. If foreigners can undercut domestic businesses without subsidies then there should not be an import tariff IMO.

Nothing can be 100%, but we can be pretty damn sure of it.

Yes I liked it. I liked Tron: Uprising more though and then evil Disney decided to tank the show.

So many amazing cars I'd like to own, or at least drive once. If it had to be just one though I'd pick the Aston Martin Vanquish. I know it's not the most powerful, or the fastest in a straight line or around a track but still. Just look at it.

This bill is totally understandable. Religious groups, especially Christians have been suffering at the hands of gays and atheists for centuries now. It's time they got their FREEDOM back.

Maybe FB doesn't think Wahtsapp is worth $19billion. Maybe they think the cost of allowing WhatsApp to exist as it is will be greater than $19.

The value of a company could be based on a whole lot other things than just the activities the company being valued.
