Hardcore Nintendo fans carried the N64 and the Gamecube, the Wii U will be no different. Nintendo continue to make great games, that's all I'm concerned with.
Wise choice Nintendo. They show their games on their own terms in their own way, without waiting for an overhyped media event filled with petty competition, sexism and games that were thrown together quickly for the show.
Look at Square-Enix at the PS4 unveiling. Showed up just to say "wait for E3". Lame.
@Anterline Nintendo hasn't had strong third party support since the SNES, it's not stopped their consoles from having some of the best exclusive games every generation since then. Don't get me wrong, I know the Wii U has certain technical deficiencies, which is why I suggest console gamers should always buy Nintendo and either Sony or Microsoft to get the most out of a console generation.
I'd be more interested in Final Fantasy XV than another spin-off. I think Square-Enix has been spreading its resources too thin lately. They should regroup and focus on the mainstream entries in the franchise.
It should be illegal to put "Zelda" and "failed" in the same sentence. It's been the most critically acclaimed franchise on any games console since its first entry over 25 years ago.
