@ltjohnnyrico: Like me, a lot of people bought the game for the end game content, and they know that. And they sure talked about the incursion a lot, one month before the game was released, which got a lot of people excited about the game, including me. We paid to play the end game content, which means we paid for that end game raid, which means that content isn't free. I'm sure a lot of people don't care either way, since in the end they get to play their raid, but these little things that they do will grow in time which will be worse than the first day DLC that most people hate with a fuckin' passion. you might not care, but remember these little things they do will snowball into something that'll kill the gaming industry.
@ltjohnnyrico: It's not free update. it's an update that we paid for, that they said was included in the main game, but never released. There's no such thing as "free" with these companies. I hate what Bungie/Activision did with destiny, but we gotta admit that they weren't dumb enough to keep the First Raid for over a month and release it as a free update, like they did us a favor by giving us "free content". I mean c'mon, there weren't enough content to keep us busy until the incursion is released. They stretch out already paid content, and call them "Free Update" so they can buy enough time to finish their DLC. That's what's happening here, That's what happening with most companies right now, but most people are to damn blind to see that. We all know that the day the DLC was created, the gaming industry is gonna go down the crapper.
@StryfeBringer: You're missing the point. What i'm trying to say is that they want us to be thankful and grateful for giving us "Free Update" as if we didn't pay for it, when that free content is something we already paid for, and kept that content from us so we can keep playing the game until their dlc is released, and they can sell that before people get bored of their game. As for destiny and their crappy move for selling content that was actually in the game all along was a dick move and no one liked that one bit.
Them repeating the word "free endgame content" is pissing me off. It's like they were doing us a favor and giving us something free when in fact it's something that we actually paid for, and didn't get to play because they needed to keep us playing until they can release their "not free content AKA dlc" Just fucking give us what we paid for and stop making us wait.
@sokose: Finally someone who thinks like me. I've been playing video games since Atari first came out, and i've noticed there's a huge fucking difference between kids back then and now. So, I feel your pain.
It looks like people are just trying to find something to bitch about. It's just a damn small ad that many might not even notice, and it won't even ruin the game if you see it.
I'm sorry, but if people are looking for every little negative detail they can find on a game, instead of playing the game. Then i say you should sell your console and go do something else.
I say just treat the game as what it is a "Game", and have fun. and if you don't like the game, then don't play it, but trying to make the game look bad over a silly little ad is just plain dumb.
