12 hours is a bit short, I would expect something longer. As for what concerns the game itself, I always prefer "too easy" than "too difficult" - and when it comes down to a South Park game, all I actually care it's the uncompromising sense of humor.
So, if I buy a HD re-mastered version of my favorite movie I am contributing to destroy the movie industry ?
Nostalgia is an undeniable right of old-time gamers like me and it allows new gamers to know where video-games come from, whether it's a pleasant trip or not. I'm pretty much of the opposite opinion of the article's author.
I'd like old-style games (like "classic" turn-based JRPG or arcade shoot'em up) to come back. A very nice example is Dragon's Crown: it's a game with a very "old-style" formula with some RPG elements. I believe that developers should go back to the roots of gaming instead of copy-cat the movie industry with games filled with awesome-looking cinematics but no heart and meaning whatsoever.
With that said, I also enjoy and commend new gaming concepts but a bad game it's still a bad game no matter how "original" the idea could be.
Honestly I would hope for some interesting off-line modes (Tag Team, Tournament and such), but since it's Capcom we're talking about I guess I'd better forget about it...
