Great game! Best reason to own a 3DS, hands down. And just when you think the game can't get any more awesome, you open up RAID mode & a whole new level of addiction grabs you. Best thing to happen to the RE series since 4. Dedicated handheld gaming is dead? This game proves otherwise.
Love this game, it nails the whole survival vibe better than any other game that I can think of. Yeah, the graphics are kinda fugly, (love the vehicles that have no textures whatsoever), but overall the look conveys the sense of bleakness & desperatioon very well. Love that the combat mechanics are more puzzle-based than actual shooter, (although once you get the bow & a couple of arrows, combat gets a lot easier). If you've seen or read Cormack McCarthy's The Road & enjoyed it, then this game is definately for you. Really gets me stoked for The Last of Us.
I'm loving the Vita so far. It truly feels like an extension of the PS3 & I LOVE that my Vita trophies go toward my overall trophies for PS3. Sweet! And current-gen console quality games in my pocket is awesome. I'm really glad I purchased the Vita.
Umm, Heavy Iron Studios? Is this a joke? Tell me one game they've made that wasn't movie-tie in dreck & then maybe I'd consider their point of view. I think the Vita will do just fine without any games from this crap development house. And I own the latest greatest I-Pad & have a Jesus phone as well, & although there are some good games available, (and they're getting better all the time), they do not compare with the quality of a dedicated handheld gaming device for gaming. I've already paid off my Vita & am looking forward to having great games on the go as well as the "cloud" for compatibility with my PS3.
