This game really is a love letter to Spidey fans. It does for Spiderman what Arkham did for Batman. You can tell that the devs are in love with the Spiderman universe. Yeah, there's some issues with controls & camera, but overall a "no-brainer" for Spidey fans & a solid title for anyone else who just likes good action games & pretty graphics. Best Spiderman game ever IMO.

If I didn't know better, I would have thought JackThompson hatched this hair-brained scheme to protest Mafia 2. Glad to see there are other short-sighted morons to take up the cause in his absence. Censorship FTL...

Kevin VanOrd = best reviewer on Gamespot since JG. And yeah, SCII is that awesome.

Seriously, Kevin is the best thing to happen to Gamespot since the fiasco with JG. Best reviewer this site has seen.

For the longest time, I thought that developers were letting down hardcore gamers who own the Wii. With the sluggish sales of Extraction & Madworld, (incredible game), I have begun to realize that it is actually the hardcore gamers who are letting the developers down. If people won't spend $ on good games that are geared towards adults for the Wii, then devs will just continue to shovel out the crap games that absolutely prevail on the Wii right now. And anyone who won't ackowledge that for every good game that hits the Wii, there are at least 10 more that are absolutely atrocious, is just simply in denial. What a shame...

Gamewako Posted Oct 18, 2009 1:54 pm PT I hope the shooting is WAAAAY better than the first! Looks the same to me...the gun fights became extremely frustrating in the first game due to clunky controls and little polish. That being the number one play mechanic, it should have been much better. Think I'll pass on this one until it is around $20. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! ROFL dude! This is one of the highest rated games released so far this year. Pretty safe to say that it's definitely OK to believe the hype with this one. And I don't know what you're talking about in regards to the shooting being clunky. I agree that the first game was a little touchy, but the sensitivity was adjustable. But that problem is eliminated in the sequel. With the default sensitivity settings, you can be the freaking king of headshots in this game. I sense another nervous fanboy who can't stand the fact that the PS3 is pretty much crapping high-quality exclusives at this point. Don't hate, APPRECIATE!!!

Been sinking some serious hours into this one, it's incredible! Couldn't agree more with the GS review. This game is unique, gorgeous, long-lasting & tough as nails. They just don't make 'em like this anymore. Hopefully PS3 owners will support this amazing title with their $. Another awesome RPG from Atlus & easily the best RPG to hit consoles so far this year.

Let's see. I work at Gamestop & until recently we were selling the Elite for $400 with Halo3 & Fable 2 included as well as the component cables bundled in. Now the SKU is priced down to $300 but does not have H3 or F2 & now only comes with totally crappy COMPOSITE cables, so you have to shell out extra for the componenet cables. I guess you could call this a deal, I call it a ripoff. Not to mention the fact that 360's still come back defective in droves. Seriously folks, jump on the PS3 now, it's the real deal.
