@alex33x: Force Awakens was meh at best. The story was absolute crap, just like Last Jedi. However, unlike Last Jedi, Force Awakens was actually fun to watch.

If the story is crap I can still enjoy it. But if the story is utter shit and the movie just isn't fun to watch (TLJ), I'm out.

The hold up is he's stuck, now rich, and he doesn't have the energy or will to try tying it all together. Why would he? Instead he's focusing on shows on HBO, his other series he's involved in, and releasing a prequel novel.

It's a damn shame. I wish he'd let another author finish this series.
