June 2018: The Best New Netflix TV Shows / Movies To Watch

Find out what's coming to the streaming platform in June as we list our top recommendations, including Thor: Ragnarok, Glow Season 2, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi!

A new month has arrived and with it comes a long list of new movies, TV shows, and originals to stream on Netflix. With so many additions to the streaming service, it might be hard to figure out what, exactly, you should be watching. Luckily for you, GameSpot is here to answer that question. After digging through the list of arrivals for June, we've got some recommendations to make.

First and foremost, June is a big month for movies. Not only is Thor: Ragnarok being added, but June 26 will see the arrival of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. That's right, hot on the heels of Solo: A Star Wars Story hitting theaters, you can relive the latest adventures of Rey, Finn, Poe, BB-8, and the rest of the crew--and get a proper reintroduction to Luke Skywalker. Other new films include Just Friends and The Departed.

On the TV side, you're going to want to make some time for Season 2 of GLOW, as well as the second season of Marvel's Luke Cage. Both highly anticipated returns come in June, giving you hours of new material to binge. However, the month also brings about the series finale of fan-favorite original show Sense8.

The series from The Wachowskis and J. Michael Straczynski hasn't released a new episode since May 2017, but Netflix is giving the creators the chance to say goodbye to fans. The feature-length finale will wrap up the show's storylines and give viewers closure for the canceled series.
