Well I prefer the futuristic style like FFVII because the way the world looks in VII it's kinda like the real world....except for the chocobos,monsters and all of that fantasy stuff :P
My favorite scene is.....in FFVII when Sephiroth destroys Nibeliem and when he Releasd Jenova from that thing in the reactor oh yeah and when the weapons are released too
