That guy basically set his credibility on fire when he claimed 'SNL is still doing a great job with parody comedy!"

The last couple of episodes I have watched were complete trash. Just the most unfunny, cringiest sketches that make you feel embarrassed for the performers and especially the guest host.

Seasons 1-4 were near perfection, the slide started with a middling/bad season 5, season 6 was a bit better then 5, and then season 7 was even worse then 5, and we all know about season 8.

Like, just redoing the 8th season doesn't save the show. I like those characters so more episodes would be fun, but it wouldn't redeem the poor episodes from the prior 3 seasons.

They should make an "Old Republic" film trilogy for sure, but yeah no need to follow the Kotor story arc. Been there seen that, just do a galactic war series of movies with the Jedi and Mandalorians at their height a thousand years or more before the original trilogy.

@phattsao: Because telling a joke about something = you are that thing. So Dave Chapelle is a crack head and Bill Burr is a murderer.

Marvel comics just can't be happy with their straight male geek audience, they need to expand into minority groups that couldn't give a shit..... everyone with a brain can see it is patronizing and does not serve the story/characters at all.

They are going to kill their core audience's enthusiasm with this fake woke cynicism and then when they go under they will blame sexism/racism. Even tho it was just them not being happy with a small dedicated market. "Got to make bigger and bigger numbers every quarter!"

Feige doesn't contradict the showrunner, she says they had always written it that way but that they were not sure if he would be available until just before filming started. Feige says "from very early on in development we were planning on Quicksilver stuff."

Regardless, it was a really bad idea. Basically just a way to create buzz at the end of episode 5, that then proceeded to go no where. It didn't have to be the herald for ushering in an X-men merger or anything, but at least have something satisfactory story wise for any plot twist. This just ended up being a throw away dick joke. Wanda didn't even mention her brother in the last episode, his appearance was completely inconsequential, except it got geeks on the internet to buzz for a few days.

This episode has several problems.

When the Stark bomb scene was explained in Age of Ultron, I imagined the kids buried in rubble next to the bomb and being forced to stare at it. But nope! They have complete freedom of movement and have an open window near them. Why would they not flee the house immediately? Yeah there is fighting in the streets but at least take shelter in a building without a primed bomb sitting in it. Also why couldn't they be bothered to cast kid actors with Blonde and Red hair? Instead they both have jet black hair.

The origin of her powers sequence was totally lame. She just walks into a room with the gem and it gives her god tier powers.... did the same thing happen with Pietro? That is really dumb. They should have shown it as long term exposure to the gem, or at least have the scientists shooting a laser at the gem to trigger a reaction. Or show/mention they had had several test subjects exposed to the gem and they all died or got mind wiped. That would further any cheap "The gem chose her" narrative. They shouldn't have even done a flashback sequence to that point in her life if they couldn't be bothered to get/pay for Strucker and Pietro's actors to reappear.

Why would the head of SWORD be like "Wanda you have the power to bring Vision back to life!!" One, there is no way he could know that, throughout the movies she has only shown an extreme capacity for telekinesis and mind control (stuff that makes sense with the Mind Stone, but I digress, because I actually enjoy reality power Wanda from the comics). Two, even if he did know because he read some super power analysis of her, WHY would he mention that to her when she is staring at the body?? He deeply wants to keep the body a corpse so he can study it. Also it has been 4 years, why are they still actively dissecting the Vision? Really dumb, also extremely dumb that his office is situated just above the dissection lab, it is the same office he met Rambeaux in earlier so it must be his.

Also why wouldn't Wanda kill Harkness as soon as she is on the streets with her and not inside the runes of protection? You are just gonna let her monologue with nooses on their throats?

It's a bad game..... HD graphics and motion controls ripped out won't fix it.

Anyone paying $60 is a sucker.

I like the show, but it's not beyond criticism, and until the whole thing is out I don't think anyone can defend it with "naysayers are just missing the point."

What if it totally biffs the landing and there is no point, all Wanda's trauma is dismissed or resolved in a really stupid way and we are just left with a show that poorly parodied TV sitcoms and amounted to very little else?
