Although I have nothing against consoles,I am solely a PC Gamer. My reason for saying "maybe I am weird" is this...I never have, and never plan to use "cheat codes". My best friend's usual response after I get/install a new game is "Lets look for codes!" I tell him if he wants codes, he can get his own computer and his own copy of the game. I prefer a game to be a challenge, and I also like to earn what I get (I guess 14 yrs in the military will do this to you lol). I was just curious if anyone else out there feels like I do. :roll:

Well, I decide to go into the game configuration utility, and changed my sound settings from Software to Hardware, and the problem seems fixed. "crosses fingers"

Maybe Tabula Rasa? Although, Tabula rasa no longer exists :( I actually liked that game, it just never caught on though, and so Richard "Lord British" Garriot had it discontinued.

Okay, neither Tabula or Rasa are bones, but they sound similar to certain bones in the body, so maybe this was the game.

I just re-started playing Mass Effect, andI think I may have a glitch with the sound. Every time I switch from the inventory, save, options, etc screen back to the game, I hear a gunshot. This is very irritating because I keep thinkng I am getting attacked, and I start looking around for an enemy. I have downloaded the most recent patch, andI still have this problem, and there is nothingI can find in the options menu that seems to address this. Any suggestions?:) Oh, I am playing the PC version

DIABLO...I mean u get all the way to the end of the game and then u face Diablo, who is supposed to be a bad ass, and then he turns out to be a wuss and u whomp on him and kill him too easily. It was just kind of a let down, I was disappionted.

Clarify "unbiased". Do you mean unbiased as to PCs versus consoles? In that case I will say, although I am strictly a PC Gamer, I have nothing against consoles. I just never had a console when I was growing up, and only got into gaming at home after I got my first PC back in the 80s. By home gaming, I mean as opposed to the arcade...where almost all my lawn mowing money went when i was a teenager.

Hopefully Fallout: New Vegas will be more like the originals....being made by former Black Isle Studios employees

The biggest glitch...how about the name? I have played Fallout 1, Fallout 2 and the PC version of Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel (and, unfortunately also the X-BOX version.) In my humble opinion, Fallout 3 is NOT Fallout. To me, Bethesda should have stuck to the original look/feel of the earlier Fallout games. Just how I feel.:roll:

Okay, just a question...how many people think that when the Star Wars MMO comes out, it will destroy the user base of DC UNIVERSE online, and CHAMPIONS online? My friend thinks it will because he feels there are more Star Wars fans out there than comic book fans. I just wanted some other input.
