I have a question...do people out there prefer fun games, challenging games or a game that incorporates both? I personally find challenging games to actually be fun. I like the challenge, and I enjoy making progress by overcoming adverse, challenging situations. My friend, who is a casual gamer, says he plays just for fun, but he plays the same games I do (since he doesn't have a computer and he plays on mine). I think games can be both, I just wondered what other people liked, and/or what their outlook on challenging vs fun was. I probably haven't "voiced" this too well, sorry.

I also think a keyboard would be a good idea. While I do not at present own a PS2 or PS3, I am considering getting one becauseI like playing GH at my friends house. A keyboard for me if we got RB would let me playsongs from my favorite rock band, STYX (okay,I amdating myself here) I also like In A Gadda Da Vida by Iron Butterfly so a keyboard would be fun.

I agree about the harpy thing...I mean even Walt Disney in Fantasia showed the harpies breasts in the "Night on Bald Mountain" sequence. If Disney can do it, video games should be allowed to also. As long as the sex/nudity applies to the story in some manner or advances the plot or whatever, it should be allowed.

At the moment, I have 6 Gamesgoing on my PC: MASS EFFECT, MORROWIND GOTY edition, SILENT HUNTER 4 Wolves of the Pacific U-Boat Missions, CHAMPIONS online, and City of Heroes/City of Villains (although that may count as one game making my list 5)

I manage them by simply rotating. I play one game, next day or later that same day, I play something else. My rotations are random, I usually just play whatever genre i am in the mood for.

CHAMPIONS online

FALLOUT 3 was ok, but I am a fan of FALLOUT 1 and 2, and I was a little disappointed with FALLOUT 3. But I think it deserves to at least be in the running for GOTY.

I am a veteran of the US Army (14 yrs of service). While I was never in actual combat, I did participate in many wargames, and combat scenarios/simulations, and i played paintball whenI was in college. I would say my skill at FPS games is average. They are not my favorite genre, but I do play a few of them (on PC, I am not a console gamer). I think how a FPS gamer would do in real combat depends mostly on the individual. Since in real combat you have a lot more to deal with, the sensory input is often close to overload, even in battlefeild simulations and wargames. So, as I said, I think it totally depends on the individual, and how they can handle the intricacies of real world combat.

I personally prefer to take my time. I like to explore and find things that i might miss otherwise, thats how I found most of the keepers in Mass Effect w/o the map. Even if an item, npc or whatever is not vitally important to the completion of the game or a specific quest, I just like finding them, they can be entertaining/interesting sometimes.

Although I think it is somewhat of a personal preference, both have their merits. Headshots are great if you want to dispatche your enemy from range, and keep his buddies from finding you. Knife stabs are great when stealth is important. thats just my opinion though

I actually enjoy buying from Gamestop. I used to buy from COMPUSA and MediaPlay, but since those 2 stores have gone out of business, and since there are 3 Gamestops nearby, I go there. Never had a bad experience. However, I am a PC Gamer (nothing against consoles though) so I haven't encountered trade-in problems. So at least from my point of view, they are okay. I feel the store is well organized, well-stocked. and the employees are friendly.
