Uhg, the Morrowind Vs Oblivion debates are just stale at this point, alright fanboys I have some bad news for you...they're BOTH FINE GAMES. None of this "lol, Oblivion is garbage", because the VAST majority of people enjoyed BOTH games, and that's right it's 'vast' in ALL caps, and an underline. BOTH are game of the year titles, end of story, let's move on. I mean at some point Al Gore voters had to accept that George Bush became president, let it go, time has passed, Besthesda is not out to get you, alright? Besthesda is our friend.

Uhg, I'm getting pretty bored of blizzard's "gearing up" trailers, I want to see the characters in the cinematics kicking arse not getting dressed!

Fighting the Aliens is such a bore but graphically speaking those levels are pretty amazing. Whenever I replay Crysis I always stop at the ice levels...fighting those aliens just turns the game into a generic FPS, I would always end up missing the feeling that you were a predator and utlizing the environment to knock baddies, jumping on rooftops to make your escape, etc. I mean pushing a barrel into a bunch of baddies in strength mode never gets old...that sorta goes away with those dumb aliens. Boring!

Steam is going to be around for a LOOONG time so I wouldn't worry about it going AWOL and losing all your games...My friends friend is so paranoid about that happening that he refuses to download and install steam to merely play Alien Swarm with us. He doesn't want to go anywhere near supporting it, Sheesh. But even if steam does go away, by the time the happens you'll probably be able to rebuy all your games digitally for under 200$ somewhere else. But it aint happening anytime soon.

I always found The Chronicles of Riddick:Assault on Dark Athena's water to be absoutely gorgeous, I went into that shoreline scene when you start the game thinking that it was a CGI cut scene.

Yea game's are getting pretty expensive, but we have the choice whether or not to keep up with modern gaming, I usually lag behind 1-2 years from modern games, a few months at minimum. Hell it was only last month that I finally got around to getting Crysis 1. Loved the game although I found combating aliens boring and dreadful compared to punching North Koreans around.

Personally I would never pay 60$ for a game unless it was the holy grail of gaming, especially with a guaranteed xmas sale each year.
