it's just the kind of game that u want for the ds

the presentation is funny

the gameplay could only be done with a touch screen

and it's darn funny

the best game so far for the ds

too bad there aren't that many more like it.. is there any other game like it out there for the ds?

i mean.. the brain games are great and all, but it's just a bunch of mini games tied together

and none of all of those mini games are as meaty as the eba gameplay

it's all about fun

i actually just see the brain games as a bunch of mostly good templates for edutainment titles (as in memorizing games for geography or whatever) so the brain games come off as a bit hollow since u actually never learn anything, u just "strenghten ure brain" which is good and all, but i mean.. a lot of more fun games like eba could really just claim such an atribute as well.. "eba: a rythm game that trains your brain at the same time" or whatever..

but anyhow.. ive had great fun with eba so far, and i hope more titles like this arrives on the system before the ds lifespan has ended..

yeah, we might

we'll see

although i would have thought it be cooler if they sold a peripheral that was both camera and motion sensing device.. i mean, a gba cartrdige is big enough so that they could pack in all kinds of chips into it..

and yeah, a wario ware game that utilised all those devices plus the stylus would be fun, very fun..

it's irritating, im split.. i mean, sure if ud get Oprah to showcase it on one of her shows and have a doctor talk about the benefits with daily facial training, it would sell millions.. but how do u get that to happen? exactly.. so..

hm.. but if mostly kids have a ds.. then their mothers have access to the handhelds.. and if they watch a commercial on tv about this little program u use using the ds, then......... maybe... maybe there is a market

but honestly.. it's a bizarre product.. very bizarre.

hm.. maybe it could sell well actually

i mean, what is it that says it's a culture differency really?and that it's that that make it a hard sell?

ok, so i mean sure, it would probably be a hard sell anyways, because what demographics buys a face training game?

not girls anyhow.. but woman specifically, and is woman a big demography for nintendo, present time?

i don't think so.. but sure, if they did some commercials for woman then why not.. anything could happen.. one problem though.. how do u get woman to buy a ds lite? it's slick, no question about that, but it's still a handheld videogame machine.. and for one face training program a woman who don't play games would need to shurn out a lot of money to do these excersiese she didn't even care much about before, and still don't care much about..

in that sense i think it's an easier sell in japan, home of zen.. that culture might like it.. the u.s. culture.. might like it.. but not so much that they'd need to buy a machine...

so i still agree with craig, but i think that nintendo should deliver a motion sensing / camera peripheral this or next year. they should if they don't have a new handheld planned for a long, long time at least.

ign Craig thinks that the "face trainer" program for the ds might be a hard sell for an american audience

i definitely agree with him.

it would have been great though, if nintendo sold a camera/motion sensitive periheral and maybe bundled it with a wario mini game that made use of the peripheral(s) and the stylus as well.. that would be fun

and that would sell a lot.

but it would be cool if nintendo sold the face training product in the u.s. as well.. but i don't get it though.. i mean, is there any dificulty in the program at all, and if not, is there any point in having the program score the users efforts if u can learn the program well in a matter of minutes? i mean, a program like that is pretty useless if u can learn it on ureown without the need of having a program "guide you" through all the excercises...

it would need good advertising though... strange with a face training program advertised for woman, a bit odd

but it would sell if advertised well..

and hm.. the program would of course be a hard sell in the u.s. because it feels a bit like a japanese / u.s. culture.. what do u call it? when the culture is different?

oh well..

it's too bad that the face training camera peripheral isn't insversable so that u could point the camera at things other than urself.. but i guess u could still make funny games for the camera, i mean, but it would be a bit more difficult if u had to have the face on the camera all the time.. but u could at least make funny wario style mini games.. where u instead of pressing the dpad or used the stylus, played the game using facial expressions.. or maybe a rythm/facial expressions game of sorts where u timed facial expressions with on-screen rythm markers..

so there are still a lot of fun things you can do with a camera that only can record the users face
