@Shanks_D_Chop There's a big, colorful flag on the front page of gamespot with "EA" in the middle of it -- do you think I actually had to click on the article before putting together what it is about? I came to read and respond to comments. Feel free to state your opinion, but don't let your blood pressure get too high over it.
Huh? Nintendo hasn't even brought out its big guns yet and the 3DS is doing pretty well. Also, why would Nintendo go 3rd party over just 1 console failing (not saying it actually will)? Sega didn't go 3rd party until after the Saturn and Dreamcast lagged in sales, and they weren't as big as Nintendo.
Men complaining about sexism in women is exceedingly pathetic. It shows the great extent to which boys are being brainwashed and made effeminate nowadays. That said, the problem is not with female protagonists. Growing up, I never had the least bit of a problem playing as Samus in Metroid or Jill in Resident evil games. Those games were made with female protagonists because that's how the developers wanted and envisioned them to be. The problem is that now people expect developers to force female leads into games just for the sake of having them there. Games like Gears of War and other shooters are aimed at testosterone-filled men. Putting a female protagonists in these games makes no more sense than putting Solid Snake in a tutu and making him the main character of a ballet game.
Some people wanna take away my rated M games; some people wanna take away my guns. Everyone says they champion rights, but it ultimately boils down to which rights they think should be taken away.
I wouldn't want such a grotesque thing. I'm sure they'll be plenty of disagreement with what I'm about to say, but a person would have to be a little off in the head to display that in his home.
