Your post also describes Cows last week when Titanfall launched. Both are equally sad but don't act like only one side was acting this way.
True, but the problem with Titanfall is that it's not an Xbox One exclusive.
It's difficult to compare Infamous with Titanfall outright, because one is a console-exclusive and the other is on three different platforms.
Don't get me wrong - I know there are psychotic cows here. Same with sheep, hermits and lemmings.
But to see so much joy by Lemmings over a AA exclusive for another console is flat out pathetic, NOT because it's a AA game, but because it DIDN'T score higher than a multiplat in a completely different genre. And Titanfall on the Xbox One is inferior to the PC version.
If anything, Hermits should be dancing on top of Lemmings and Cows, so far as Titanfall goes.
Still, this forum is filled with really fake personalities and pitiful agendas. It's funny and sad at the same time.
I agree with everything you said except both sides have seemed to have confused Titanfall as an exclusive. I was surprised by all the Cow trolls in the Titanfall thread because I thought they didn't care about multiplats. And really none of this matters if we all just followed Gamespot rules. Both met their hype! But it's the Cows that had brought Metacritic into the mix when TLOU flopped.
Well, they do have a point about TLOU, considering how many Awards it has been winning over the past 3 months, around the industry.
I think it's safe to say that using Gamespot alone for anything is wrong and should not be observed. Not even for THIS forum.
Gamespot is really one single reviewer's opinion. To use one single reviewer's opinion to score a game is stupid and severely Ego-driven.
I'm fine using Metacritic, because it shows an industry average. But even with Metacritic, you have to WAIT for ALL the reviews to come in, not just the first 15 that pop up in the first hour after a review embargo.
Right now, as of this writing, it's scoring an 81%. It was at 78% initially - and Lemmings were dancing and howling an hour again. Now, they're suddenly silent and likely will stay silent so long as the score stays in the 80s.
LIKEWISE, the psycho COWS are now jumping for joy that it looks like it's going to plateau on the mid-80s LOL
It's like watching a pseudo sports game, where the score is going back and forth and everyone is happy when they have the lead... the only difference is that it's a VIDEOGAME REVIEW SCORE AVERAGE!!!
