It's great to see a decent iOS game getting coverage, but I'm confused as to how Gamespot decides which mobile games to review, since they're few and far between. What was the last one, Angry Birds Space?
I can't stop playing Kingdom Rush, lately, and I'm definitely on the lookout for new iOS games all the time (being more time-strapped, on a budget, and traveling a lot on business).
Hold up- is this a PC Space Flight sim? REALLY? I haven't played a solid space flight sim since Freespace 2 (one of the best space flight sims ever made).
I might have to dust off my flight stick and see if I still have an old joystick port somewhere!
I'd really have liked to see at least one gameplay video, rather than having to search externally. The review makes this game sound quite compelling, despite the score.

This is almost certainly a legal issue. The original release date was August 27, 2008. It was released on the PS3 on August 28, 2010, exactly two years and one day after its release to XBox Live. Hence, their exclusive contract with Microsoft expired. It's reasonable to guess their contract with Sony was for another two years, which brings us to 2012.
What we can conclude from all this is that lawyers suck.
@Alygator What the hell are you talking about? Tera is God-awful, with repetitive quests, awful dialogue, and a hammy plot. I don't play it for said reasons, though I did participate in the betas (for both games). That said, Tera's combat system is exceptional, especially for an MMO.
Neither do I play TSW, because the combat is monotonous and the character animations are- well, they're bizarre. And my comment stands: Had TSW used Tera's combat system it would have been a masterpiece. Right now it's an atmospheric game with great stories, but it has its flaws. Most reviews have said as much.
And it's a shame, because TSW was probably the game I was most looking forward to this year.
The animation from Portal 2 is fantastically old-school. With everything being computer-generated today, it's refreshing to see some hand-drawn animation.
