He's not writing for Screened anymore? Wow. Thought he'd keep writing for both sites.

Well, both sites are going in different directions, so it makes sense that he'd have to pick a side. Video games make more sense for Alex, though, and I'm glad he's staying with GB.

Hey BoG! I see you have an animated .gif as your avatar! You should be ashamed of yourself. Dave is staying with the Giant Bomb team. People on Gamespot would know him as the primary designer behind MP3.com and TV.com when the first became Cnet sites.

WASSUP Z-PIE.

I love animated gifs.

This is very cool! The two best gaming sites on the web. They'll remain separate, so we'll still get those unique flavors. Plus, this is great for GiantBomb because they'll have more funding for all their mayhem. As a GB user, I'm very excited.

Where are all of you guys from? Across the internet, whenever I see someone post their location when they have gotten a call, it is east coast. I'm in Utah, and I'm dying to know if I can get LBP tomorrow, and haven't gotten a call.

In his own words, Darwin stated "an agnostic would really be the more correct desciption of my state of mind." (here)

You must consider the time in which he lived, however. In our day an age, he may not have thought that way. Imagine growing up beleiving in god, then discovering something like this, but still wanting god. I would argue he was simply holding on to that last bit of religion which he could not escape.

On the other hand, it is very possible to beleive there is a god, and that evolution is real. As a devout christian (I'm a mormon, you can debate whether that is christian or not some other time) I see very clear evidence of evolution and don't see how any of it refutes god.

I'm not a fan of Cliffy, I'm a huge fan of the PS3, and like both the Dualshock 3 and the 360 controller.

Personally, I think the guy is a bit over the top, but I try as hard as I can to get past it. The industry needs recognizable faces that aren't Mario or Master Chief. Hollywood can make money on fresh films by casting a big name actor, while in the gaming world, our big name stars are game specific. Sure, Mario can star in a baseball game, but there isn't a very broad range of what he can do. If the industry tries to sell games based on designers, it may open the door to fewer rehashes and spinoffs.

Oh, and Unreal Tournement 2004 is used as my coaster. Take that, Cliffy.

If it is his own game, can he still ruin it in a totally unrelated movie?

Whatever the case, expect laughably bad dialogue.

." Peter "I can't keep a promise" Molineux for "We had to cut 2 player Co-op, even after showing it as a main selling point, but hey, the farting is still in!" The jury is still out...SciFiCat

In Peter's defense, he deserves the award for "Most genuine love for his own games." Seeing the man talk about Fable 2 with a teenage girl's excitement over some dog was quite charming. Also note that this is GENUINE love, which is what sold me on Fable 2. Other developers talk about there games positively, but you know it is their job. When molyneux does it, well... you just know he cares.

The award for "Game that will make holes appear in the wall" goes to Mega Man 9. Sure, a few of the Robot Masters were overly easy, but the Wily stages are unrivaled in difficulty, as is Wily himself. I still can't beat that second stage in the Wily boss fight.

Well, as long as the DS remains the home of great games, it isn't missing anything, really. You can ask for a bunch of useless features, but for me, it comes down to the fact that I can play tons of great games on it.

Final Fantasy IV is a must play, and a good place to start for the older games. My personal favorites pre-PS1 are V and VI, though all of them are good.

With the new DS version of IV, now is the perfect time to start.
