@nikolistary: The Vita's screen isn't 900p, it's 960x544 or 544p, whereas the Switch is 1280x720 or 720p. Furthermore, I don't know what Switch game's you've been looking at or what resolution you viewed their trailers in, but they're obviously far above anything the Vita is capable of. Lastly, the Switch's battery life reportedly can last up to 9 hours.

I don't understand why Nintendo insists on marketing the Switch as a Console when it simply cannot compete as one. As a Handheld, the Switch is the best thing out there, easily surpassing both the PlayStation Vita and Nvidia Shield in terms of power, and that's based on what we've seen from its launch titles alone!

Furthermore, their repeated statements that the Switch is a Console which is not intended to replace the 3DS is actually killing my interest in the system because while the Wii U was a huge disappointment to me, I loved the 3DS' Library and therefore feel I could depend on a successor to provide a AAA library, whereas I simply don't trust a successor to the Wii U. If Nintendo would only market the Switch as a 3DS Successor, then there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that it would be a huge success which would gain excellent 3rd Party support, but as a Wii U successor it will not, and in this case such a simple verbal distinction makes all the difference.

Granted that this is most likely just posturing so that folks will continue buying the 3DS in the meantime, (IIRC, they also said that the Wii U wasn't a successor to the Wii. e_e) but when the alternative means hurting the Switch's sales by marketing it in such a way that it can only be compared to their last home console which failed to impress consumers and sold poorly, it's time to cut your losses in regards to how ever few sales the 3DS could potentially have left after 6 years on the market in favor of promoting the Switch by labeling it as the successor to the 3DS.

Thst said, assuming the Switch is indeed not intended as a successor to the 3DS, then I'd rather wait until a system which Nintendo feels comfortable naming as its successor comes along.

@silversix_: It's basically a glorified handheld, and for that, it's actually pretty good considering its only competition is the PlayStation Vita with its 544p screen and expensive proprietary memory cards.

I'd be much more willing to take that comment with even as much of a grain of salt if it weren't for the fact that Reggie has a history of teasing MOTHER fans with vague comments such as these.

If this system is required for online multiplayer, then that's a huge deal-breaker and I most likely won't buying the console at launch.

Calling it right now, regardless of the outcome, one thing will remain the same, haters will loudly and persistently proclaim Nintendo's impending doom.

Nintendo: doomed since 1990.

That Asari really is the most disgusting humanoid female character I've ever seen in a video game. This trend of attempting to pander to non-gamer SJWs who spend all day bitching at game developers on social media over "over-sexualized" female characters needs to end.

Seriously, trying to make female characters with more realistic proportions is one thing, but game devs are really going overboard these days with making female characters which don't even look vaguely feminine anymore. If looking at that face wasn't already just this side of unbearable, I'd actually google a full body shot of her, because I have a hunch that in addition to her ultra masculine visage, she's completely flat-chested, has no hips, and has broad shoulders.

I miss when horror movies relied more on atmosphere to generate horror rather than simply bombarding the view with scenes of the most grotesque violence and gore they could possibly get away with.

Wasn't it already stated by Epic Games that Cole Train was based off of Jerome "The Bus" Bettis, former Quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers?

Alright then, you can start by putting Scalebound back into production.
