It's crazy how small the world really is. Out of the 40+ servers, both factions you can be apart of, and right time right place I have met tons of people who live in Texas. It's so weird to think about, but I have met some awesome people while playing this game, and a few im really close to.
@Skarwolf If you are a character who already has merit across the world, then you don't feel invested. The point of role playing games is to imagine yourself in that role, and get lost in YOUR character. That's why most of the time you are basically an unknown at the beginning, so you can be the one to mold your story, rather than playing as someone who is literally a no body and would get crushed from a dragon in act one.
@oldtobie @Arsyad00 Don't take the comment so literal. He's referring to the lag situation this game is dealing with. And to be fair, your comment is kind of spot on. People who can't play Halo or Gears are always good at cod.
@magusat999 You hit the nail on the head. Why should someone base an opinion off something they have been given? What is sounds like is the beta was pretty sub par, and he rated it as that. Also, he gave it a 6, which in my opinion is extremely fair for a game in beta status. This is the reason people like yourself aren't in the video game industry. You can't rate and review things off of hopes and promises to come. If that were the case almost every video game with a good trailer and a lot of hype would be a masterpiece.
Just bought it tonight without ever playing one of these games. Kind of hard to fit it in with Xcom, GTA Online, Civ 5, League of Legends, Persona 4 Golden, and Windwaker HD, but I am very stoked to give it a go.
