if you have a pc that can run it, i would recommend the pc versionhansmacher
^this. the game is great for whatever platform you wish to play it on, but in term of controls it is simpler on PC.

such is the case with the xbox360 - every game will work but the one you want to work when you want it to work. the only thing i would suggest is installing the game to the hard drive. since you are able to load to the main menu, that means the drive is able to read the disc and, therefore, should (key word) be able to read the disc long enough to do an install. If you can do that, you shouldn't have a problem. give it a try.

[QUOTE="Timk1931"]

Xbox got RRoD again for like...the 4th or 5th time now. Warranty is expired and I'm not about to pay $100+ to fix it. Though I did go to the website to fill out a repair thing and it said the total came out to $0.00 at the bottom of the page, but at the top it said my 3-year warranty expired. Are they going to tell me I have to pay once I send them the xbox or did they mess up? I picked the fastest shipping and everything so idk why it says that. If I do have to pay I'm just going to fix it myself.

If I do end up having to fix it myself do you think this website (http://fix360fix.com/) is legit or does anyone know of anything better?

do this http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/repair/ring_of_light_x-clamp_fix.htm i have been able to revive 2 consoles with that method. PM me if you need help

the first thing that you need to do is find out if your router (the thing that the 2 computers downstaris are connected to) has wireless capabilities. If yes, then just hook up your new wireless dongle and have your xbox connect. If no, then no dice dood - cant be done unless you run a cable from downstairs all the way to your room.
