7.5/10 - innovative and different stlye of RPG, but the so-called "choices" that make up the premise of the story fell a little short for me.

throw as many games into your box as you can to see if the same symptoms are reproduced across the board. that will at least narrow the cause down to a hardware issue, in which case you can blame the GPU starting to give.

dead link, brah

i would have said your GPU is on the fritz, as is usally the case with graphic issues, but this a relatively new box - though that still doesnt rule out a looming GPU failure. are there any other symptoms?

Alright, here's hoping someone reads all the way to the end of this thread...

My X360 is acting up: I can play for like 10 minutes, and then the screen freezes. I have to power the system off and restart, at which time the freeze happens more quickly than before. This happens with every game I have tried thus far, including Arcade titles saved on the hardrive.

I do NOT every get a red ring or anything like that. I have tried several times with different games over the past three days, and have had this happen each time, approx 10-15 minutes after I strt playing, though sometime it is shorter. I have heard that sometimes claering the hardrive cache can help, but I am unsure of how to do this with NXE? If that doesn't work, any other ideas?

FYI, this is a launch system from 2005, I am sure people will blame that, but ...

wenzke

disclaimer: i am not a 360 mad scientist, just speaking from experience.

had this happen to me about a month ago. started with the above then led to the RROD after about 2 more weeks. not saying it is definitely going to happen, but the same symptoms led me down the path of the dreaded rings. keep it in mind.

also, i believe these symptoms have nothing to do with the HD or NXE...just a side-effect of using Microsoft!

Thanks for the posts, I went back to it and its fine :o . Thanks anyway.fabfabregas

that is good to hear, but fyi: that does not mean the the problem is permanently resolved - only temporarily. someone else mentioned it above and was spot on; the gpu is starting to get the rickets (overheating). happened to me a month ago. eventually the image would lock up no matter how many time i reset and, lo and behold, RROD!

not saying its GOING to happen, but keep it in mind. better to be in the know when things go sour than all "WTF?!?"
