If want to max it then you want something like this:

Phenom II X4

4GB's RAM

GTX460/5850 upwards

Daytona_178

That's a bit of an exaggeration. I can max it out easy on a 5770/AMD II x2 at a decent resolution. People on here always seem to overestimate game requirements...

I don't really mind if I get moderated for making a statement like that, because honestly it's the clearest way to describe what's taking place in this thread and it just had to be said. And with the post you've just made, it's just proving my point that much more. So keep at it, it'll keep the rest of the trolls and fanboys amused at least until a moderator finally decides to close this thread of stupidity.

Honestly, the direction this thread has taken is simply retarded beyond belief. The majority of you act like it's your life's duty to defend or undermine this game. There is a certain limit to how much time you spend arguing over some meaningless crap in a video game thread. How about instead of acting like god damn hired SC2 personell you just keep it shut and go play the game? And the ones who don't like it go play whatever you enjoy. Simple as that.

Even hinting that there's any level of maturity on either of side of this geek-fest is utter nonsense.

I bought it just now off Steam, installing at the moment. I honestly never even knew this game existed until like 30 min ago lol, so sort of an impulse buy for me but hey it's $15 and it looks good so..

You mentioned Warcraft II, and so the best way I could suggest for you to get it would be just to buy the battlechest, since you get the sequel as well if you didn't have it already. Other than that, Warcraft II is still worth it, especially if you liked Warcraft 3. There's also Warcraft I, if you really want to go back. It's also a great game, nice atmosphere (It's more darker).

Warcraft II and III, easy. You can get the battlechest for cheap which includes the original Warcraft 3, the expansion Frozen Throne as well as Warcraft II Battle.net Edition. I highly recommend this, one of my favourite series of all times (Warcraft RTS that is, meh to WoW). Single-player is awesome, and there's a map editor you can mess around with to create your own maps and scenarios.

I dont hate it because I never played it.Pvt_r3d
As Much as I like CSS I'm going to have to go with MW2. This is considering the fact I'm comparing MW2 to Vanilla CSS without any of those special mods.Pvt_r3d
I thought you said you never played MW2 (in the other thread)? Can't say something you haven't played is better.

Haha all this talk about Guild Wars makes me want to give it ANOTHER chance.. I played a bit more and it's not bad really. I also downloaded PSO: BB, so I can alternate between the two if I ever get bored. I'll settle on these two I think, we'll see how it goes.

A question regarding GW though:

When I first played I just did the straight to lv 20 PvP thing, and never really touched PvE all that much. I'm wanting to go through PvE of course, for the whole adventure thing and I was wondering what the endgame was like. Can I participate in the same aforementioned PvP battles with my leveled up character or would it be different/seperate?

Also, I have the Platinum edition which includes the original and Eye of the North expansion, anything else I need/might want?

Thank you very much for the help and input guys, I appreciate you taking the time to post in here :)

Yeah well I was looking for an online action RPG, something similar to Torchlight with online. My best bet in that category would be Diablo 2. But then I was also thinking about PSO, which is also an online action-RPG, albeit different, which I loved. So anything similar to PSO is great too, I guess that's why Guild Wars was suggested. In any case, I've ruled out Guildwars. I finally got it sorted out and managed to login, but I felt the same way I did before, it's not something I could really get into.

I'm still on the fence about Diablo 2, and there's also Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst, the SCHTHACK server which is still active but I think I'm already burned out with the series. Other than that, I guess there's not much else out there.
