i dont see anything wrong with bethesda trying to create a new ip. people always complain about developers not releasing anything new but only sequels, but when there's a new ip introduced, people complain about it and ask for another sequel.

I think people are more upset that is an MMO rather than a new ip.

As if 360 fans weren't bigheaded enough :lol: "MS rulex, they can buy everyting, our multiplats teh bettez, live pwns life!"

Good for MS but their bread-n-butter is America since they are not doing a killing in Japan or Europe, oh wait those territories dont even matter, silly me :P 360s lead over PS3 is nothing to brag about unlike the Wii which is severly pwning both consoles, funny how lems are quick to bring up sales against PS3's quality yet they are just as quick to downplay Wii's sales. No one is downplaying the Wii's sales, its just that its so far ahead its not really a competition anymore :P. The Wii is marketing to a different population segment so people feel more comfortable comparing xbox360 and ps3 sales.

If Epic wants to bring it back to what made them millions, they have to get back the fast run and gun gameplay like the awesome Gears 1. I play both, but nothing is like 1. Give us the Shoot right after running, make the pop out of cover and shoot mechanics faster, bring back the old shotty, bring back all the mechanics from gears 1, and put it on gears 2 beautiful graphics = Instant classic.

No one knows yet but i hope not, there are always people that go for these achievements and it often ruins multiplayer. Infinity Ward has been good about this so far and i hope they continue with this single player achievements only strategy.

[QUOTE="AvalonSaber"]

I may be in the minority but i dont think motion control is a bad idea at all, think about it the "hardcore" crowd is only so large, it has to end somewhere. By making a peripheral that allows motion control they can tap into the "casual" market and generate revenue. Its not like the games we all love are going to switch to this motion control, what will happen is new games and ip`s will be created to use this new component. All it does is broaden the gamers they target ,they are not going to abandon the hardcore or anything.

Well Nintendo abandoned the hardcore. I don't care about that though, I just like to press buttons when I play videogames, not pretend to swing a baseball bat. I have a Wii and 360 and my 360 recieves almost all the attention.

I guess the easiest way to look at this would be, is motion control important for microsoft? Yes. Is motion control important for the hardcore audience? Not Really. At the end of the day microsoft is a corporation whose sole purpose is to generate revenue so introducing this would be great in their minds. I dont think they would even think about abandoning the hardcore audience which has gotten them this far by releasing a peripheral. They are just expanding their audience.
